You will love soaking in the hot tub and basking in the serenity of your own private nature preserve at this waterfront home at the beach. Nestled in a quiet corner of Camano Island, no ferry is needed because you just drive on!

You will enjoy the views from the house, a campfire on the bluff, or a stroll along the shore. While inside this warm home your own live nature show will unfold outside the huge wall of windows! Two bald eagles who call the big tree home will swoop down to the water and catch fish right in front of you! Grey whales will swim by, and you'll be treated to stunning mountain views, mesmerizing sunsets, and all kinds of wildlife.

Located on the dark side of Camano Island with no light pollution you will look up to see big shining stars in an inky black sky! At the shore you will witness all kinds of wildlife, such as whales, orcas, eagles, herons, seals and even octopus! Bring your kayak and launch from shore, or anchor your boat just off the bulkhead.

When nighttime comes, the absolute quiet will lull you to sleep.

Despite its remote feel, you can easily go out for dining and shopping. Enjoy wonderful attractions within a few miles of your doorstep, including Camano Island State Park, Cama Beach Historical State Park, Iverson Trail Preserve, Canopy Tours NW, and wildlife watching from the shore or out the window! Local artists are featured in the home and art galleries dot the neighborhood. The Cabin on the back half of the property shares beach access during daylight hours.

Snuggle up to the woodstove, or make a campfire in the fire pit as you watch the moon's reflection on the water. You may bring your own Duraflame logs for the woodstove, or firewood for the firepit, but if you forget there is some in the house to purchase!

A big, modern kitchen with filtered water, ice maker, microwave and double oven will make your cooking a pleasure.

Cooking and baking equipment are available for you! Some spices and olive oil are available in the pantry. The fridge has filtered water and filtered ice ready for you. An insta-hot tap is available for making tea, cup-of-soups, and oatmeal. Caution--the insta-hot water is very hot!

Note that check in and check out times apply to the entire property and beachfront, and not just the interior of the Chateau. 24-hour advance approval for early check in or late check out must be obtained from the host and may include a small added fee for additional staff. Without advance approval, staff is required to prohibit access to the property and beach. Late check out without approval will result in a late check out fee of $100 or greater.
