We spent much of our time on the porch as it was quite peaceful and pretty quiet. Maybe a couple more chairs outside would be nice, since the home sleeps 8. We preferred the lights off on the porch to eliminate so many bugs that were drawn to them. The purpose for our trip was to visit and hike trails at Clifty Falls State Park. Madison is a nice little town but most everything closes pretty early so plan accordingly. All in all we are very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect Getaway

The property was a perfect getaway spot for us for the weekend. We came for the regatta in Madison and it was the perfect distance to get away from the crowds when we were ready to relax.

My brother and I stayed here for a long weekend while spending time in Louisville and Cincinnati. This is a very nicely built house with comfortable beds, nice furniture and applicances, and a great patio and hot tub. The owner is very accessible and friendly, and there are a couple of nice restaurants in the nearby town of Vevay. I definitely recommend this property!
