It was an adventure crossing the creek after a lot of rain, but we made it! There was plenty of room for our family of 11. The host was very attentive to our needs. Not every family member was prepared for the rusticness, but we had a great time nonetheless. The area is just gorgeous!
Several of my girlfriends and I stayed here for the weekend. It was wonderful. The gathering spaces were huge. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out both inside and outside. Adorably decorated and it had absolutely everything you could need. It wasnt listed in amenities but this place had everything. Even firewood. Couldn't recommend enough!
If you are looking for a place to get away that has plenty of room to spread out, this is it!
The historic downtown was amazing and easy to get to.
Just make sure to have a vehicle that can cross a creek.
We came to Madison for my grandmas funeral. This cabin was perfect for our family. We sat around the firepit and reminisced. Laughted til we couldnt laugh anymore!

We love this place and call it the “big cabin” that holds our precious family get togethers!! We live just up the hill in the little one. Parents of 4 and grands of 10, we also pastor a local church called New Life. This place has bred a huge blessing that we constantly thank God for.
