weekend visit with daughter

our daughter moved to Michigan last September in Royal Oaks, and wanted to take a long weekend to visit her and have her own space. This house is exceptionally clean and very close to all the wonderful places to visit in Royal Oak and Birmingham. Everything was as described online, and the check-in process in communication with the owner was very much appreciated. Looking to book again on our next visit in a couple of months.

Vintage Bungalow Near Downtown Royal Oak

Comfy, cozy, tastefully and totally updated home close to everything in Royal Oak with easy access to I-696 and other major thoroughfares yet situated in a quiet, well maintained neighborhood. Large,covered front porch with outdoor seating and well equipped, spacious interior with everything you need. Gracious and accommodating host. We've been staying in Royal Oak for the past several years, and it doesn't get any better than this!

Beautiful home & quiet neighborhood

I have to start by saying Hailey is an amazing host. We had already booked another place to stay, However the host was not responding, so per VRBO’s policy we couldn’t cancel & get a refund until our actual check in time. So of course I was now nervous to book another home. I had several questions prior to booking & Hailey was very responsive and answered all my questions! The home was very clean, spacious and kid friendly. We even got to use the fire pit & enjoy some outside time after traveling almost 10 hours. I would definitely book the house again due to its location & great host.

Our neighborhood is very conveniently located as it is walkable to our town’s downtown and a quick 15 minutes drive to downtown Detroit. Our house is located on a quiet street with lovely neighbors. The easy accessibility to the metro Detroit area was a big highlight for us when we chose our neighborhood.

What makes this property unique

Our 100 year old home has been recently remodeled to have a cozy yet modern feel. Our focus is on simplistic decor and comfortable furnishings. The large floor plan provides a unique amount of space that many homes in the area do not have.
