Clean and Comfortable Up-Scale Home in Country Setting

Lower level of large beautiful home on 40 acres of rolling hills with lakeshore on Hay Lake surrounded by towering pines. Includes 2 bedrooms, 1 roomy bathroom, a well-stocked kitchen with new cabinets, countertops and appliances, and a cozy living room with a gas fireplace and large windows looking out onto the patio. Also, reliable high-speed wi-fi and satellite TV with 240+ channels, central air conditioning, and in-floor heat for the winter season.

Summer activities: Large patio with gas barbecue grill for enjoying the outdoors, walking/hiking trails right out your door, campfire pit, lakeshore and dock on Hay Lake good for canoeing and kayaking. Enjoy multiple gorgeous flower gardens, water fall, and fountain. Two adult bicycles and one kayak are available at no charge.

Winter activities: Enjoy the in-floor heat throughout the house and the gas fireplace in the living room. Also, cross-country ski and snowshoe on the property and on the lake.

Excellent location out in the country yet convenient to many area attractions including ski resorts, golf courses, Black Bear Casino w/buffet (10 miles), Jay Cooke State Park (8 miles), Cloquet (13 miles), Duluth (25 miles). Owners and their dog live in a separate apartment on the main level of the home with their own separate entrance. The only shared spaces will be the yard and the dock area. Owners are available if needed to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. Garage and swimming pool use are not included with this vacation rental. This area has it all, so you can make your vacation as busy, or as quiet and relaxing as you want!

The place was great. Nice cozy fireplace and only about a 30 minute drive to Duluth. Had all the necessities we needed. The place is a back from the road so just have to keep your eyes peeled for the green address posted by the road. We even saw a deer while pulling into the driveway on our last night!

Nice and secluded

Very nice place to stay, quiet country place. Was a little disappointed the pool wasn’t up and running but they did communicate options very clearly but we decided to stay and glad we did. Very spacious will definitely stay here again
