Charming and affordable place to stay
Overall we enjoyed our stay, and I would recommend the place. It’s not fancy or luxurious, but it's a great place for hundreds of dollars less than other properties in the area.
Pros:
• Will was responsive and checkin and checkout was easy.
• The location is close to City Park and a bunch of good Mid-City restaurants.
• The parking space was a nice feature for us because we drove in from out of town.
• Open and spacious floorplan.
• Nice kitchen area to have breakfast and store. leftovers. Plus, there was a nice selection of snacks from Will. There is so much good food in New Orleans that we didn’t use the kitchen to cook big meals.
• There is a shared washer and dryer to use in the basement.
Cons:
• It had all of the essentails, but the space was very barebones. (The photos are accurate.) It looks like we were one of the first people to stay at the place, and seems like it is still in the process of being furnished.
• The bathtub/shower is pretty tall and little hard to get in and out of. Personally, none of us really loved showering in the tub (small space, no place to put soap/shampoo), but otherwise the water was hot and everything worked.
