Annette is a wonderful and very helpful hostess! The condo and entire facility are amazing! The condo is extremely roomy. The kitchen is well stocked with all that is needed to prepare meals, excluding food. The bedrooms and baths are modern, large and very comfortable. The pool is great, the ocean very accessible. TV’s connect to anything you might want to watch. Staff is quite friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking to schedule a trip to CR! Pura Vida!

Beautiful

We had a wonderful family vacation and this property was perfect for us. The condo was clean and well appointed with everything you would need. The owner, Annette, and the RPM team were wonderful to communicate with and so helpful in helping us plan our stay. I can not recommend this beautiful place enough.

Awesome place!

Would definitely stay here again. Great location and we love playa longosta! Property was very clean and the views are outstanding. Full time gated security as well which we didn’t expect. We hope to stay here again next year!

Loved everything about this property! Great location, peaceful and quiet with amazing views. Close walk to Tamarindo for lots of dining and drinking options. My adult kids all surf and the proximity to surf breaks was perfect. Very upscale property, great a/c's throughout, decorated beautifully and the place is huge! We will definitely come back and stay again!

Family Vacation

Beautiful. Only about a mile walk to major restaurant area. Plenty of bathrooms (5 teenagers, 2 adults). Very Safe and Comfortable. We could all sit in living room together and watch a movie. Huge deck overlooking beautiful ocean/sunset.

Great Property & Location

This unit was well equipped and as described in the pictures. Location is great - - close to Tamarindo, shops, & restaurants. The beach has amazing sunsets and tide pools to explore during low tide. We did have a problem with one of the AC units which maintenance came quickly to provide a temporary solution.

Didn't want to leave

We enjoyed the unit for five nights. The unit was fully equipped with everything needed for eating in. the beds and furniture were comfortable, and the AC worked very well. The best part of staying at the unit was the view from the balcony looking out over the ocean. The beach was within walking distance and the sunsets were outstanding. Would go back again and definitely recommend it.

Amazing stay

This condo is gorgeous, clean and has everything! We had a fantastic time. There were a ton of towels and beach toys to use. The property managment and guards were lovely and helpful. Pool was great and kids loved to swim. It's in the shade in the afternoon which is nice. Condo is huge and comfortable and the balcony sunset view can't be beat. The kids loved snorkeling in the tide pools. There is a sandy place to swim in mid/high tide right near the condo with lots of trees for shade. There is also another much less rocky beach about a 10 minute walk to the left of the condo. Condo is an easy walk into Tamardino, but there is also a small grocery store and some restaurants just up the street.

Vacationing in Tamarindo a Delight!!

We were definitely very happy with this rental condo. It is even more beautiful than the pictures show. We brought our family of 7 total and had lots of room. Location is wonderful with full view of the ocean every day and night on the huge patio. Location is close to Tamarindo and lots of great restaurants. Maid service twice a week is great too. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and a cooks delight. The barbecue was state of the art weber, my husband wants one like that now! Annette was so wonderful to work with. So we're the managers at the property site. Would highly recommend this property!!!!

Luxurious Condo with Breathtaking Views

We had an excellent stay at Crystal Sands. The condo was immaculate and well appointed and the layout was spacious and very comfortable. As much as we enjoyed the interior of the unit, nothing could beat the views from the beautiful balcony! We saw a spectacular sunset on our first night. Our hosts provided excellent information about the condo and the area prior to our arrival and we took advantage of arranging some transportation through RPM. Communication was easy and efficient. In hindsight, we wished that we had rented a car for some older members of our group, but we managed well enough and did elect to rent a golf cart one day. Our group cannot say enough good things about this rental. We would happily return if the opportunity arose! Pura vida!

Terrific Costa Rica vacation

Annette and Tom have an incredibly beautiful condominium. This was our third time visiting Costa Rica, and while each visit has been amazing, this was probably the best. The condominium is the perfect balance; it is not far from Tamarindo proper and all that the town has to offer, but is far enough away that you are in a peaceful idyllic enclave. Waking up every morning and having coffee on the balcony had me considering buying one of the very few units for sale in the building. The condominium is well-provisioned, and there are both a nice restaurant and a small grocery very close to the property. My wife, two teenage kids, and I just had a spectacular time. I can't recommend this property highly enough -- thank you. Abby, Amy, Bob, and Graham, Ann Arbor, Michigan.

I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE

Condo, Grounds and staff at complex were 10 Stars. Good access to Langosta Beach. The Parrots and Howler Monkeys kept us entertained every day. Seen wild life everyday, when we went out to walk. Close to downtown Tamarindo, but far enough away to be away that you felt like you we were on your own Island. Used Bogie Boards in Closet several times during our stay. RPM was great in setting up site seeing trips and the driver picked us up at the driveway of the condo. Used the pool also, a great cool off, on the 90 degree days. The condo had everything I could think of! Felt like I was at home in the unit! Would recommend to any family, this is the place! And the sun rise and sunsets from our balcony were spectacular!

Best VRBO rental to date

Everything was perfect and made for a dream family and friend vacation! Annette’s place was fully stocked with all that you might need from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the laundry unit. Literally everything that we wanted was there, including beach toys for the kids which we were lamenting about not bringing. The view from the balcony was breathtaking and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time watching the sunsets, listening to the ocean waves and watching the tides go in and out. The direct beach access from Annette’s place was great for exploring the tide pools and playing in the sand. For swimming, it was a short walk or even shorter ride to beaches nearby for swimming. The pool on property was both kid and adult friendly. What more can I say? It was literally perfect and our best VRBO experience to date. Oh I do want to mention Annette’s outstanding communication and friendliness. We 10/10 recommend her place and would stay again!

Wonderful Stay, Owner and Staff!

The property was just as described by other travelers. It had a wonderful layout and very large! Great view from the 3rd floor. Easy access to beach and we enjoyed the pool as well. We walked along the beach to Tamarindo Beach and for some of us it was an easy walk but my adult daughter was ready for the horse to take her back! Young people lol.... Annette was very helpful and answered all of my questions before our arrival. We did not need the windbreakers as Annette suspected : ) There were so many beach towels - thank you! The guards were so nice and helped us get dinner delivered the first night there - we arrived almost at 9:00pm. Thank you to them! The communication with RPM was excellent! They helped us with arranging transport from airport and having groceries in the condo prior to arrival. Very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Great staff at RPM and we felt very valued as guests. I highly recommend Crystal Sands #302! If we come back in the area, I am booking again. Pura Vida!

Wonderful place for a family holiday!!

If you are looking for the perfect place for a family holiday get together - this is it!! Our family, five adults and one grandson, spent two weeks in Annette and Tom's Crystal Sands condo and couldn't have been happier. Not only is the location great but the condo couldn't have been better. Lots of room, equipped with everything that you could possibly need and a little bonus, spectacular sunsets viewed from the deck. The condo was well maintained and the maid service was nice to have. The three large bedrooms are like mini suites within the condo giving you your own space to relax. Lola, Natale and the other friendly staff at RPM Property Management were quick to respond to any concerns we had and were great at arranging tours for us. They also made numerous recommendations for things to do and places to go. Going out the gate onto the beach was great for taking walks, searching for sea shells and for walking to town or to nearby swimming and surfing. Our grandson loved the condo pool that we usually had to ourselves. If you have a vehicle, I would recommend making a day trip to the beaches at Playa Conchal and Playa Avellana, both are spectacular. Tamarindo has a great selection of restaurants if you want a break from cooking your own meals. A few recommendations: La Pachanga (Italian), Bamboo Sushi Club, Matty's Deli Cafe (next door to RPM Office), Surf Shack Burger and Wings, Sprout (on the way to Villa Real), La Panderia de Paris (French bakery) and Lola's (on the beach in Playa Avellana). Thanks again to Annette and Tom for providing such a perfect location for our early Christmas family vacation. We can't recommend it highly enough!!!

Sunsets, walks, and luxury!

I've been meaning to write this review for a couple of months and I just couldn't let another month go by without singing the praises of this luxury condo and it's location. The condo was spacious, well appointed, the attention to detail superb, and it was luxurious. Everything we could possibly need was provided. The outdoor deck was the first place with coffee in hand, you wanted to be in the morning, with a race back to get the unbelievable sunset views while you sipped your wine in the evening. The development is well attended too and has 24 hour visible security which we always appreciate no matter where we are. The pool, although not on the ocean side, provided a place to cool off after a hot day at the beach. Very comfortable loungers are in place around it. The beaches offer unlimited wandering with calm places to take a dip or with areas that one can surf. The beach directly in front is a very large tide pool area for exploring when the tide is out, but when the tide is in, it is a fabulous place to paddle around after the rocks have been warmed by the sun all day. Advice....take some rock shoes...or you won't enjoy this exploring. The areas around the condo provide some tucked away restaurants, or you can take a leisurely stroll along the beach into Tamarindo. There is no shortage of good quality eateries and one can even stop along one of the beach accessed spots for a cool one and some ceviche. There is a small grocery store within a short walk that has everything, but because we had a car, we loaded up at the large supermarket in town. There is an abundance of activities - our favourite was the day we spent with Antares sailing adventures - it's family owned and I must say, they could not do enough for us. It's an older boat, but so very comfortable, they fed us all day, they had a phenomenal guitarist to serenade us during the day and at sunset, and the snorkelling wasn't bad either! Tom and Annette have left lots of info in the condo for you to peruse. Of course the highlight of the days was returning to the this luxurious condo.

An Unforgettable Escape to Paradise!

Our stay at this spacious 3-bedroom condo in Playa Langosta was truly exceptional – a perfect 10 out of 10 experience! The condo itself was flawless, and we absolutely adored the expansive patio overlooking the ocean. We began most mornings with walks on the beach, followed by coffee on the patio, occasionally enjoying the delightful sight of monkeys in the nearby trees on a couple of occasions – a wonderful bonus! The decor was beautiful, the condo was super clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful and luxurious stay.The location was ideal. We truly appreciated being in the tranquil, high-end neighborhood of Playa Langosta, yet still incredibly close to the lively town of Tamarindo. Renting a golf cart made for super convenient and quick access to all the Tamarindo action.The condo's kitchen was incredibly well-stocked, which made preparing most of our meals at "home" a breeze and a pleasure. Dining al fresco on the patio, with that breathtaking ocean view, was a daily highlight. For the evenings we chose to dine out, we highly recommend two fantastic local spots: Fishes and Cheeses and Sofia's.Our hosts were, without a doubt, the absolute best. Their communication was excellent, and they were a pleasure to work with. What truly set them apart was how impeccably maintained and perfect the condo was.

Great first visit to Costa Rica

We loved the spaciousness of this condo but most of all, loved the private outdoor space. The condo is on the third floor of a five story condo complex but we could not hear or see others staying around us. The sunsets were spectacular and different every evening. You hear the waves of the ocean which is wonderful. Pool was very clean and enjoyed it as well. Great proximity to the restaurants. I do recommend renting a car or golf cart.

We live in Alberta, Canada and the North American winter months can be pretty cold and long. The weather in Costa Rica during those months is dependable; sunny and temperatures ranging from +24C - +34C. We treasure the time we can get away to kick back and relax - no better way than to head to Costa Rica.

We traveled to Costa Rica in 2010 and fell in love with the country and the people. The natural beauty of the country can take your breath away. We love the quiet beauty of Tamarindo, the easy beach walks into town and sitting on the balcony overlooking the Pacific. It is the ultimate in relaxation. Sitting on the deck in the evening watching the sun set over the Pacific with a glass of wine in hand is to be savored.

What makes this property unique

The condo is on the beach and if you like to walk there are miles of unspoiled beaches to meander along, watch the surfers, try it your self or gather sea shells. Great restaurants at reasonable prices are close by.
