The Manzanita Cottage @ Yosemite & Bass Lake

Charming family cottage next to Bass Lake and about twenty miles drive to Yosemite South entrance. The Manzanita Cottage invites you to relax in a cozy and peaceful environment nestled amongst cedar pines.

The Manzanita Cottage sits on a 1/3 acre lot with large cedar trees. Located in a quiet neighborhood, only a 5-min drive to Bass Lake and 30-min drive to Yosemite Park Southgate entrance.

We created this space as a personal sanctuary from our busy city lives and a place to recharge in a beautiful back yard surrounded by nature.

The Cottage offers two bedrooms with blackout curtains and comfy queen beds, one sofa bed, a full bathroom, a simple but comfortable living room, dinning area and a fully equipped kitchen. Our dinning table seats 4-5 and is perfect for intimate meals, and if you'd like to BBQ there is a griddle on the deck for your use.

Come and enjoy the partial wrap around deck, offering beautiful views paired with a freshly brewed coffee. The deck leading to the backyard invites you to relax in front of the fire pit or lounge in a hammock.

This Cottage works well for a small group of friends, two couples, or small families.

We have an evaporative cooler and ceiling fans to keep you comfortable during summer. The fireplace and space heater will keep you warm during the winter.

Our driveway can accommodate three cars max.

Some of our neighbors are permanent residents, please be mindful of quiet hours.

Please do not leave children unattended! there is lots of active wildlife in the area.

Beautiful Cottage in the Mountains

This property was incredible, inside and out. The number of little details that the host included for our stay were so thoughtful and accommodating, the fireplace in the living room was perfect, and the rear deck with outdoor space was fantastic! I would absolutely recommend staying here for your trip to Oakhurst, Bass Lake, Yosemite, or anything else in the area.

Perfect getaway

We had a great time at Rosa’s comfy cottage. Rosa did everything to make us feel at home. The facilities in the house were outstanding. Perfectly equipped kitchen with great choices of local coffee. Selection of body wash and shampoo in the shower.

Well appointed in a great location

We were so delighted by all the hospitable touches the hosts put in this rental. A sweet welcome gift awaited us upon arrival. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. There were plenty of plush towels and pillows. Our toddler enjoyed the small selection of toys in the linen closet. The beds were comfortable — and we loved sleeping with the windows open so we could hear the frogs in the evening, and the birds in the morning. Bliss! It's a quick drive down the hill to Bass Lake, and a 10 minute drive to restaurants in Oakhurst. If we return to Bass Lake, we will certainly stay here again.
