We are located 3 miles from Oakhurst, 11 miles from the south gate of Yosemite National Park, and 4 miles from popular Bass Lake. Perfect for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city or just a stopover on the way to Yosemite.

Located on Lewis Creek at 3000' elevation offers cool summers and mild winters. Listen to the sound of the water from the year-around creek running through the rear of the property or enjoy sipping your evening wine watching the tranquil water flowing downstream. The quiet neighborhood has a private park just 1/2 block away with a waterfall and swimming hole great for children and pets where they can safely axperience nature. The accommodations are perfect for two. There is a large bathroom with a claw foot tub, a fully equippchen, a
nd a private patio with a BBQ. There are several restaurants in Oakhurst as well as dining at Bass Lake. You'll have complete access to Lewis Creek to enjoy during your leisure time. The house below is also a BnB. The two houses are completely separate from one another sharing nothing except the entrance to the driveway.

My stay at the Creekside cabin was wonderful. Beautiful creek below with a bench to sit and relax and enjoy the view. Close to Bass Lake and a picnic area, close to Yosemite National Park. Stores, restaurants close by. The cabin itself has a nice size kitchen with everything you need, very comfortable bed, nice size bathroom. Kadi was a perfect host that was quick to respond if you needed anything. I highly recommend staying here. Pets welcome and my dogbthoroughly enjoyed his stay and walking to the park 1 block down.

This cozy cottage is the perfect getaway! We stayed here with our fur baby for our anniversary/Valentine’s Day weekend. We didn’t even need to go out much because there’s so much scenery right in the backyard. The creek is absolutely beautiful and you can hear the water & sounds of nature right when you step outside. The host had cute little Valentine’s Day decorations & even left us cookies, flowers and a welcome note. The cottage had every thing we needed & we will definitely be coming back!

This little cottage was pleasant, clean so quite peaceful and so cozy to stay for my first trip to Yosemite. If you also enjoy waking up and seeing wild life in your surroundings like we did then this the place to stay. Luana and Kathleen were very hospitable and I also loved the cookies that Luana had left for us to enjoy. Thank you for having us and our little fur baby.

The host and co-host were amazing. They were both extremely helpful. We will definitely stay here again in the future. The creek down below was so serene and peaceful. Absolutely love it. The only set back for us was the snow, we weren't prepared for that. Make sure you're prepared if you're going for the snow. The roads could be dangerous.

The property was so welcoming our host was wonderful in answering questions and providing us with a clean and cozy environment. The neighborhood was wonderful, we enjoyed connecting with local and visiting people. The creek behind the cottage was our favorite we enjoyed coffee early in the morning and before sunset. Make sure you pay attention to the water feeders as many hummingbirds stop by to visit!

What a great place to stay! The cabin is cozy. Everything about it was so nice. The kitchen had everything we needed, the living area, although small, was perfect for the two of us. The bed was soooo comfortable and the bathroom was spacious!
The creek had water running through it. I didn't have a chance to take my dog "Cooper" in for a dip though.
Bass lake is less than a 10 minute drive away.

When we arrived we arrived to a warm cottage with music playing, a candle lit and the best sugar cookies I’ve ever had. The place was very clean. Very comfy bed and a heater that worked perfectly. Having lived in Oakhurst for 40 years I know the mountains are in my heart. I am proud to share this beautiful slice of nature with travelers in hopes they will remember their Yosemite vacation as a magical one.

Why they chose this property

The Cottage is conveniently located 1/2 mile off Highway 41. We are just 11 miles to the South Gate of Yosemite, 4 miles to the popular Bass Lake, and 3 miles to the town of Oakhurst. The Cottage is quaint, and private, in a quiet neighborhood where you will go to sleep listening to the sound of the creek in the backyard.

What makes this property unique

One of the best creekfront properties on Lewis Creek. Easy access to Yosemite Nat'l Park and Bass Lake as well as many wonderful places to hike with your furry kids. A private neighborhood park is located a 1/2 block away on the creek that has a beautiful swimming hole and waterfall.
