Holiday Home Lana is located in quiet village Rudanovac, 12 km from UNESCO- listed Plitvice Lakes.
We offer entire house with two separate bedrooms, bathroom with shower, fully equiped kitchen, with dinning area and large living room, with flat screen TV.
This house features covered terrace with seating area.
The house is surrounded with large garden and quiet nature.
Guests can use barbecue , parking place and WI -FI for free.
There is above ground pool in the garden, available to guests from 15th of June till 15th of September.
There is also a hot tub for 4 person available for free.
The house is entirly available to the guests and they decide wether the host should be present or not.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house and garden were lovely and we enjoyed the hot tub, especially on some of the cooler days. The area is beautiful and incredibly green and lush compared with the coast. Vedran was very helpful with suggestions as to what to do in the area - we thoroughly enjoyed our canoe trip and a visit to the bear sanctuary. Plitvice Lakes were stunning but very busy. I would recommend this house to anyone who enjoys being away from the crowds.

Nice house with lots of privacy in a beautiful setting

We have spent 2 fantastic weeks here. The house is clean, has good beds and enough storage space. House Lana has a large, wonderful garden with a beautiful view of the mountains. For a holiday with children, this house with this garden is an ideal place: large Intex swimming pool, trampoline, swing, tennis table, soccer table, mountain bikes. Our children had a great time here, while we enjoyed the peace. The owners of the house are very friendly and helpful. We felt welcome from day one. They gave information and tips about shopping, eating out, what there is to do in Croatia. They arranged a day of canoeing for us. And if we had any questions, we would receive a prompt reply. Awesome! The house is 20 minutes away from the Plitvice Lakes. A fantastic beautiful nature reserve. Definitely a must see. In addition to canoeing, we have driven quad, also a very nice activity, Zipline, visited the bear shelter. We also visited Rastoke, a small fairy-tale village in the falls. And we went to the beautiful coast with the help of directions from the owner, Novi Vinodolski, Zadar and Zavratnica. 2 hours away. But definitely worth it! In short, an unforgettable, fantastic holiday for us! Seen and done a lot. And also had nice weather! Vedran and Lana, thank you very much! And who knows goodbye!

Great place to stay for a few days when visiting Plitvice Lakes

A pretty little cottage, which is very comfortable, clean, well equipped and situated in a quiet, picturesque and remote location. We enjoyed the pool, BBQ and the terrace for some sunbathing. The kids loved the WiFi and satellite TV!! Both bedrooms have single beds so romantics will need to push them together! Whilst the cottage is in the National Park area, you have to pay a large fee to access the Plitvice Lakes - which is conveniently 20 minutes away. Any other activities can be quite a drive away, so be prepared to travel. It is worth noting the temperature here is cooler than on the coast, especially in the evening. The nearby town Korenica has good range of shops and the restaurant Villa Velebita is within walking distance of the cottage and is excellent. What really made our stay was the attentiveness of the owners, Vedran & Alexandra, they are really helpful and informative. Through Vedran we organized an amazing kayaking trip which we would highly recommend to anyone.

Beautiful area, helpful and friendly hosts, well equipped and comfortable accommodation.

As a family of 5 with 3 late teen children we needed to make use of the sofa bed as well as the bedrooms. This was not a problem - all the beds were comfortable and the sofa bed was straightforward to put up and down. Vedran was very helpful with information about the park, kayaking, restaurants etc and we all had a wonderful time. My husband particularly liked the purpose-built barbeque area. A great place to stay and loads for a family to do in the area.

We completely enjoyed staying in this home. It was spacious, had all the essentials, wonderful outdoor space, beautiful setting. We made dinner in their separate bar-b-q house. It was quiet - birds were singing as we awoke. Very close to the lake and waterfalls. Great walk in the woods at the end of their road. Excellent local restaurant close by. Our host were very helpful and available. Would definitely recommend this place.

We stayed here on a chilly night in October and absolutely loved it. This place was spotlessly clean and very conveniently located near Plitvice Lakes, grocery stores, and even a good takeout pizza restaurant. The owners met us there and walked us through everything. They had a crib set up for our baby and a fire going in the fireplace. There was plenty of room for our family and more. Outside they had hammocks, swings, a table and trampoline. Of the six places we stayed on our ten day vacation, this was our favorite. We hope to return someday!

The house was exactly like on the pics in the internet and Vedran and his wife are very kind people. The garden is huuuge, its perfect with a dog or even children. It is a really romantic accommodation and you can relax great. Thanks to our hosts for all theyve done for us!

Beautiful Location & Friendly Hosts. Highly Recommended!

Stayed for just under a week as a group of 5. Enough space for all of us. All facilities were clean and the whole property was of a very high standard. The hosts were very helpful in recommending local amenities and giving useful advice in regards to tourist locations and activities. For most of the holiday the hosts left us to ourselves and the privacy was greatly appreciated, however they were always available via phone or text when necessary. The location of the property is amazing for those wanting to visit Plitvice Lakes and is perfectly place to experience the many activities to area has to offer. I cannot recommend this property enough, the combination of helpful hosts, geographic location, range of nearby activities, clean faculties and cheap cost makes this an easy 5 star rating and I would happily go back again when visiting Croatia and would be more than comfortable recommending this property to groups of friends or families.

Perfekter Ort für einen Familieurlaub

Wir waren als Familie drei Nächte Gäste von Vedran und Alexandra. Das Ferienhaus Lana liegt etwas abseits von der Hauptstraße südlich der Plitvicer Seen - ist aber gut zu finden. Unsere Kiner haben den riesigen (!) Garten mit vielen Spielgeräten (u.a. ein Trampolin) genossen. Hier konnte ohne Limit herumgerannt und getobt werden. Das Ferienhaus bot für uns (4 Persnen) viel Platz, die Küche war mit allem Wichtigen ausgerüstet (wir haben nichts vermisst). Der nächste größere Ort mit Supermärkten etc. ist knapp 2 km entfernt - man kann sich also gut und schnell selber versorgen -> das Ferienhaus hat einen überdachten Grillplatz, den wir natürlich ausprobiert haben! Die Lage des Hauses ist wie schon oben beschrieben ruhig (auf dem Land) - ist aber ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Entdeckungsreisen zu den Plitvicer Seen oder den vielen Karsthöhlen in der näheren Umgebung. Für uns war es auch ein Ort zum Luftholen und Erholen. Man kann am Abend wunderbar auf einer der drei Terassen sitzen und die Landschaft bzw. die Sterne genießen. Die Vermieter Vedran und Alexandra haben uns einen herzlichen Empfang bereitet und standen immer für Fragen zur Verfügung. Gerne kommen wir wieder und hoffen dann mehr Zeit auch mit den Vermietern verbringen zu können.

Beautyfull house in a quiet arriea with lovely host

The house was very nice, clean and compleet. The host ( Vedran and Alexandra) are kind and live very nearby and can and will help you with everything. We had a wunderfull time here and loved to sta a bit longer. We could play volleybal, soccer and tennis in our own garden how cool is that for the kids. Thanks for healving us here

Great location- wake up to the sound of bird song!

Unlike most of the tourist rentals in the area House Lana is away from the busy main road in a quiet lane surrounded by fields with a couple of residential houses so no noise other than bird song and the occasional domestic car passing. The house itself is lovely- very clean, comfortable and equipped with everything you need for a holiday including comfortable beds. The kitchen is small- again well equipped but i am not sure i would want to cook full blown meals in it but this is really a minor point and does not distract from the property- and at the end of the road is a superb restaurant which has excellent food at excellent prices so really no need to sweat in the kitchen! The house does not have air con but it does not need it- it was 32 degrees when we stayed but the house remained cool at all times. The garden is well equipped for adults and children alike- hammocks and sun loungers for adults and trampoline, football goals, darts board for kids. There is a lovely terrace in which to sit and watch the sun set with a glass in hand! The house is a really easy 10 min drive to entrance 2 to Plitvice and a quick 5 min drive in the opposite direction to the nearest town for shop, bank etc. Vedran and Aleksandra are a young couple eager to establish their house as good quality accommodation which they have succeeded in doing. They met us on arrival with cold beers and spent time chatting to us and giving us hints for making the best of our time in the area. Vedran checked on us daily- either visit or text to see if everything was ok which is always helpful- his english is excellent. He also has a friend who offers Kayaking in the area which Vedran sorted for us. In a nut shell we would definitely use House Lana again and heartily recommend it to other guests. Enjoy the beauty that is House Lana and Plitvice lakes.

Excellent home away from home!

The owners are very caring and helping, they made their best to make our stay as nice as possible, happy to give us all advice and available any time, but respecting our privacy. The property is clean, cosy and calm with huge garden where we spent our evenings. Child friendly, easy to find (signposted). Don't forget to buy home made cheese from neighbours and fill your bottle in the nearby spring!
