House is very clean and accommodating. We've booked several weeks with Tam because of its perfect location to everything in Elizabeth City. We're looking forward to staying throughout the year.
Comfortable and roomier than expected, plenty of space for visiting with family. Great kitchen and porch area for meals. We were meeting from different states, the location was convenient and a peaceful environment.

Thank you so much for your kind review. We look forward to hosting your family again in the near future.
The house was beautiful, clean, and located in a quiet neighborhood. It was located close to shopping centers. Tam was an excellent host! Whenever I contacted her, she was quick to respond, very polite and helpful. I look forward to staying at this property in the future.
Our crew needed a location to unwind and recharge while working in Pasquotank County. This location checked every box for our crew. Tam, was very responsive and communicated in a timely manner. Highly recommend.
Exactly as advertised. The property was very clean and had noticeably modern features. The space was great for our group as we had family come from out of town and we needed the extra room. The host was very responsive, accommodating, and friendly and made the whole process from checkin to checkout very smooth. I would recommend the host and property for sure!

A Cozy College Move-In Headquarters – With Plans to Return!
We used this charming Elizabeth City property as our base for our daughter’s move-in at ECSU, and it was perfect! The spacious house comfortably accommodated everyone, with well-appointed rooms, including a dedicated kids' room—a thoughtful touch for families.
However, we recommend checking in during the day, as the roads are dimly lit, and the bugs get aggressive at night. A bug light/bulb on the porch would be helpful, as the critters were quite persistent even with the light off.
The home is well-situated—secluded enough for privacy but close to major highways and stores. The modern kitchen had ample space for cooking and dining, making it easy to enjoy meals together.
There was only two TVs, which took some time to figure out; we suggest using a device to cast or use Smartview for local channels. Additional dark window treatments downstairs & more options for hanging bath linens in the upstairs bathrooms would enhance convivence.
The owner’s quick response to our questions made our stay smooth & enjoyable. A guide on trash collection, operating the TVs, ice machine, and fireplace would be a helpful addition.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay & are already planning to return in October! This home is a great choice for anyone looking for a comfy, well-located spot.
First, I would like to thank the owner for their hospitality and providing us with a discount as me & my family laid my Auntie to rest. Things got worst later, I was contacted by the owner that our guess had to leave, we were having a repass were we get together and feed the family, no party no disruptions at all. The owner tried to threaten me by calling the police, but once I told him the police is already here, my cousin is the sergeant of the police department, and no disruptions were going on and the street parking is city property, but he demand that I reduce the amount of people or he would lock me out the property and won't get a refund. I felt like that was very rude and inconsiderate our guess was not sleeping over we abide by the rules of maximum number of 9 to sleep in the house, we travel from all over NJ, Charlotte, Baltimore, DC and was treated like this in the time of mourning a family member. I feel like if the owner is going to let their neighbors run his home, then they need to not be a part of VRBO, the owner has cameras all around outside the house they can clearly see no disruptions or laws were broken, the street was not blocked because the segreant of police made sure of that nobody owns the street but the city. I did ask everyone to leave, and we continue eating at the sergeant's house, a few blocks away and the neighbors were very nice about us parking on the city streets.

Dear Shelby,
Thank you for your kind words about our hospitality, and we are truly sorry for your loss. We appreciate you choosing to stay with us during such a difficult time for your family.
I want to clarify that we strive to ensure all of our guests feel welcome and comfortable while maintaining the peace of our neighborhood. We do have a strict no-party policy in place to ensure that everyone enjoys a quiet and respectful environment. Unfortunately, the number of cars present raised concerns among the neighbors, leading us to reach out.
Our intention was never to cause you or your family any additional stress. We fully understand that you were not hosting a party and were simply gathering with family, but the volume of cars understandably caused some distress in our peaceful neighborhood. We apologize if our communication felt abrupt, and we regret any inconvenience this may have caused you.
We are committed to improving how we handle these situations and appreciate your feedback. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide a more seamless experience for you in the future.
Warm regards,
Tam
