Unfortunately, our stay felt unsafe and poorly maintained. We reported an unlocked door and clearly expressed that we did not feel safe—especially with a toddler—but no one ever came to secure it or followed up. We had to block the door ourselves just to feel some level of safety. The blankets in both bedrooms were torn and damaged, showing a lack of upkeep. To make matters worse, we found an offensive note left on our car while parked in front of the property, which further heightened our concerns. Overall, there was a serious lack of responsiveness, basic security, and reasonable accommodation standards. I would not recommend staying here.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean and conveniently located near the slopes, restaurants, theater, etc. The host was also extremely responsive and accommodating. However, between the upstairs neighbors and building pipes, it gets loud at night. Also the mattress is lumpy and the dryer barely works. All minor problems overall. I’d still consider renting the unit again.

Overall it was ok. Place was neat and conveniently located.
Overall the unit was in good shape but there were a few disappointments.
1. The wifi strength does not reach the master bedroom.
2. The utensils are in horrible shape. I needed to make a Waldorf salad and chopping apples was like using a butter knife.
3. The shades in the master are tops small for the window. People have no problem seeing you naked from outside your unit.
4. The bottom of the master tub is slick. Old safety stickers have been worn down.
5. They really should have a grab bar to aid entering and leaving the tub.
6. The master shower head is very low. Hits most in the chest, unless you're short.
7. The light entering the master must be on for the bed outlet closest to window to work. Nobody wants to sleep with a light on. I removed the bulb but then lost the only ceiling light in room.
On a good note:
Location, location, location
No A/C but as a first floor unit we stayed pretty cool. All others in our group were upstairs and got overheated badly.

Reviewer Comments:
The place was perfect location!
Property is Tired: random paint coloring all over walls that doesn't match base color... Needs TLC: Bed Sheets are extremely overused; scratchy and starch like, same with towels. McCloud Condos are Great Location for Incline vacation and property has king size bed.
Our family has stayed at the complex for 10 years running. This rental was the WORST ever!
This is a downstairs unit. There were people in the upstairs unit. Ordinarily this is not a problem and some occasional noise is to be expected. However, the floor/ceiling of this unit is dramatically defective. Every step taken by the occupants of the upstairs unit sounds like the floor is going to cave in on us. The floor/ceiling is clearly defective and it would be impossible for the property manager to not know about this.
Everyday, throughout the night and early morning the noise from the floor/ceiling was awful with every step taken. Our family did not get one good night of sleep.
This unit should NOT be rented until the floor/ceiling is repaired. Frankly, it should not have been rented in the first place in its current condition.
The neighborhood and peaceful, secluded and beautiful. The place looked newer in the pictures than in real life, but everything was wonderful. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back. It was warm, clean, and spacious. It was even nicer and more spacious than photos showed. We especially liked the robust heater, fireplace, two large comfy couches, lots of blankets, and cleanliness. We liked the decorations. We locked ourselves out of the garage and received timely help, which we appreciated very much. The hot tub and sauna are about 100 steps from your back door and kept very hot and clean.
Water pressure was perfect except in master shower where shower head leak was a problem. Family room and both bedrooms were a bit dim, needing one more bright light in each room. Maps upon checkin were over photo-copied, hard to read, and did not actually mark which exact unit was ours; just showed us which cluster of buildings we were in (tricky to find the exact unit when arriving in the dark in the snow). We considered these problems minor and would definitely come back.
