Macon Historic District, a neighbourhood in Macon, is home to this holiday home. Hay House and Cannonball House are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Georgia Sports Hall of Fame and The Allman Brothers Band Museum at the Big House. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Tattnall Square Tennis Center or Macon Coliseum.
The location was great, the place was kept cool. The host Christopher gave us some great suggestions for places to try in the area. The floors were a little dirty, but overall the stay felt safe and was comfortable.
Just needed a place to crash for the night. Arrived at 11pm to find the back door wide open?? Had to sleep on the couch downstairs because the a/c upstairs wasn’t working. Not sure what the cleaning fee is for either. Property has a lot of potential, but should have been better considering the price.
Our family stayed here for a law school graduation. This property is a great remodel that’s perfect for entertaining. It’s only been a couple days but we haven’t heard anything about our refund for the damage deposit.

The interior of the property was exactly as the photos depicted. The outside areas and properties were run down and concerning but it appears that some of them may possibly be undergoing a renovation. The game room was a bonus! Cleanliness of the interior and exterior could definitely be improved. More kitchen items such as dish towels and utensils would be helpful along with the kitchen appliances being cleaned. Better lighting in the game room would be helpful. I would not advertise that this is a safe walkable area to downtown or adjacent areas. Overall, the interior of the property is great for family and friends that need extra bedrooms and bathrooms. Just be aware of the exact location of this property and the surrounding area.

Not quite as advertised
The good– there is a ton of space to spread out and everything was nice and clean. The photos are pretty accurate other than a few little nicks and unfinished areas. I'm pretty sure none of the beds are queens. I think they are all doubles-definitely the downstairs ones. Otherwise, the outside was not what I expected. I know why there are no photos! It is a duplex in a little hillside compound. I wouldn't bring more than 2 cars or parking will be hard. It is advertised as "NEW" and while it is renovated on the inside, the building I would guess is from the 70s. Outside is a little rundown. There are lots of steps inside and outside and no way to avoid them. They also woke us up before 8:00am on 2 days with construction on the back deck. It was not worth the high price I paid.
