Great option in Wausau. While the only full bath is upstairs, the main level bedroom was comfortable and there’s a powder room on that level. Very well equipped and labeled. Easy instructions for everything. The garage is a bonus!
Beautiful home in a convenient location to downtown and Wausau Whitewater Park. Excellent communication with host, including check in and out. The kitchen had everything we needed and a grill. Very comfortable beds. Lovely front porch to relax.
This place met all expectations. It was clean, spacious, full of amenities (with handy instructions), and in a nice neighborhood. Bonus points for being able to walk downtown as well. Gary was a fantastic host who made sure we were taken care of.

House was very clean and as described in listing. Great place to stay if in town for skiing or other entertainment. 10 minutes from Granite Peak. Communication was good from owner. Always hard to pick a place based on pictures but this listing exceeded our expectations.

Thank you so much, Ryan! We'd love to host you again if/when you come back!
Historic home was a perfect for our ski weekend. We comfortably housed 7 adults and the property was very clean and well stocked. The location was great with only a short drive to Granite Peak and many fun restaurants and taverns in Wausau. Gary is a responsive host. It snowed a couple inches one of the nights we were there and the driveway was cleared before 8 am the next morning! Highly recommend!

Thank you so much, Kim! I'm glad you were all comfortable and had a good time. An extra thanks for leaving the home in fantastic condition!
Nice, well stocked home in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood! Gary was an excellent host, check-in and check-out were both very easy with clear instructions. The home is a great size with nice sized bedrooms, and plenty of seating in both the living and dining rooms. Would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Wausau! Thank you!
House was very cute and well kept. Loved the big dining room table and lots of kitchen counterspace. Hosts were very helpful.and communicative. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was an old house, but nicely updated. There are some sliding barn doors on the first floor bathroom and bedroom that don't close securely, but it didn't bother us
This VRBO is by far the best VRBO experience ever. The house by far exceeded our expectations and was even better than the pictures. The neighborhood was beautiful as well. The lay out of the house allowed 8 of us to stay and never once felt like we were on top of each other. If you are even remotely considering this house, don’t hesitate one moment. This house is more than a 10! And….the beds were top notch comforting. The two king rooms were also a plus.
I have never stayed at a better VRBO. The house has everything exactly as marketed. The cleanest house ever. Super responsive host!!!
Made our sons wedding weekend easy as we hade a care free weekend. Thank you Gary!!!

house was great and as described. host was responsive and flexible. definitely stay again if in area.
notes:
nightlights in bathrooms would be great to see at night without turning on big light.
prefer dimmer bedside lights also.
flowers in driveway are beautiful! difficult to not damage them getting in and out of vehicles.

Thanks so much Kathy! I appreciate the feedback and will be picking up some more nightlights shortly.
This location was clean and amazing! We had a large group of 6 coming up for a pool tournament. So we have stayed at other rentals in many cities and this is hands down the best! They had more than enough towels, soap, toilet paper, dishes, to accommodate without having to go to the store and get our own! Which we have had to do EVERY TIME. ( It seems the norm to just have the bare minimum for our use.) The host was prompt and precise and pleasant on all interactions. 10/10 !!!
We're originally from the Twin Cities, but we've also lived in Northeast Arkansas, the Chicagoland area and now live just South of Green Bay in De Pere. We've had the good fortune to travel to quite a few different countries and a decent amount of the US. We are excited to share our beautiful historic vacation home with visitors to the Central Wisconsin area.
