Destin crystal beach getaway

This place was wonderful! The view was beautiful and such an easy walk to the beach. Sofa was comfy but could’ve been better because it was a little sandy but that goes with being so close to the beach. Table and chairs and barstools were lovely. The internet worked most of the time but you don’t go to the beach to be on the internet! The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and the like but no softwares. No coffee filters, salt and pepper, oil, but there was paper towels. The beds were nice enough but the laundry soap used for the linens has a very strong scent. Plenty of storage for a family of 3 such as mine. In addition to the beach, the location is close to the state park, grocery stores, and shopping. I feel the listing could’ve been stronger with more transparency about the beach access or lack thereof. The beach you have access to here is less than the length of a football field which is very disappointing since you are staying on a property directly near by. You need to hit the beach early in the morning to stake your claim. Or you must walk 200 yards away beyond the private beach to get a spot. But, overall we had a great time.

Love the area, cute condo

We were very pleased with this condo. It was easy to get to coming into town. The area it's in was a quieter less busy location from what I could tell. It seems to sit in between the two higher traffic areas, and has everything close by you would need. When we drove down to the harbor area where the other condo we looked at was located I was VERY happy that we chose this one. I personally don't like being in the middle of all the busy. My favorite thing about this condo is there is no one below you. We didn't have to worry about making noise and disturbing people below us. It's a quick easy walk to the beach. We left our beach stuff in the car and just loaded it and walked across. The sat. map was very helpful and accurate. I wanted something close enough where my teens could walk back if they forgot something. The beach situation here is a bit annoying tho (seems standard for the area). The access across from this condo is between 2 private beaches. We knew about the rental umbrella monopoly but not that those beaches were private. The first day was like being a sardine. The sliver of public beach was insanely small and crowded. Once we figured out the work around for that it was ok, but still incredibly frustrating. We did learn if you got out and setup before the umbrella/chair people on either side you could push the line over some. :) The condo as a whole was clean and welcoming. The kitchen had everything we needed except enough cleaning supplies like soap (maybe we were supposed to bring and I just didn't read) enough trash bags. I believe if we had called we could have gotten more, but we never called, so not 100% sure on that. The view was lovely, the ac was COLD and there were tons of towels, even for the 5 of us. Washer worked great (I did about 13,000 loads of laundry) dryer was fast, but the lint cover kept popping off and at one point ran thru a cycle without my knowledge and then wouldn't fit quite right again. Everything was really nice. My biggest complaint is the bed, that mattress needs to be trashed. It has body indents on it and the middle is raised. The right side is a pretty big slope. Other than that everything was really great. Bring water and ice like you would anywhere else in fl. *note on star rating above. I never contacted the property manager but it makes you select stars for each category. No idea how good/bad they are.

The condo is great! All of the amenities were wonderful and we loved the ease of using the app! The view was beautiful and we loved the location. The ONLY complaint I have is that the beds are absolutely horrible. At a minimum, the bed in the master bedroom needs to be replaced. It sinks in towards the middle. It’s not fun to be sore on your vacation because the mattress is so poor.

It was a very good apartment after all the view was amazing and the walk to the beach was like walking to your car from your house the only problem was that the neighbors from all over the place were to loud all during the night so kind didn’t let us sleep but after all it was an amazing experience
