About this property

We have a nice lake camp on Lake Harding in Valley, AL. We are 25 minutes from Auburn, 25 minutes to Columbus and about an hour outside of Atlanta. The camp has three boat slips and a floating dock which is perfect for a day in the sun and swimming. The lake is great for fishing and socializing and boating with your family. Also, feel free to use the charcoal grill and two kayaks and canoe at your own risk and bring life jackets as they are not provided but are required by state law. This camp is in a perfect location to go see an Auburn Tigers football game and have a fun weekend in the sun. If you have any questions about this rental then please feel free to message me. Excellent stay

The property was everything we wanted. Access to the lake and a huge screened in porch and open deck. It was nice and neat. Washers and dryers being there were a big plus. Great neighborhoods and just an all around great stay.

Cozy private stay

My husband and I recently got married and wanted to stay close for our honeymoon but far enough to get away from everyone. This lake camp offered just that! We enjoyed the quietness, privacy, and all of the wonderful amenities this place had to offer including the two person kayak, the screened in porch with a fire pit and television. This place was clean, easily accessible, and was perfect for us! I would definitely book again for a weekend getaway

The lake was absolutely beautiful. The property was quiet and clean. It was exactly what i needed for my pups and I. Nice yard and dock. Great, fast wifi, and a comfy bed.

Squatters

Dustin was a gracious host; however, we felt like squatters in someone’s home. There were clothes in the closets and dressers. Additionally, there were dirty dishes in the sink and oven. As if that wasn’t enough, we were greeted by a dead rat trapped on a glue trap under the kitchen sink. We tried to overlook all of this because we were on a lake so maybe fishing would be good, but no… we managed to catch five turtles.

Comfortable furniture

The location of the property is accurate however the drive way is quite extreme and not worthy for a small car thats low to the ground. The host said the a/c wasn't working sonhe brought in a stand alone unit and it shouod be fine however it was miserable hot. The host had a window unit installed and it cooled down nicely. The property was not thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. There was a popcorn bag in the microwave that had been there for a while because the smell was disgusting, there were used wash cloth in the shower, the towels out for our use had been there for a while because there were dried bugs on them, the outdoor furniture was dirty and no extra towels or paper towels avaliable to wipe down. The cost of the rentall and cleaning fee is definitely not worth it.
