About this property

Asheville Urban Elegance/Slps 10

This newly renovated 3 BR penthouse in the heart of vibrant downtown Asheville sleeps 10 guests, a rarity for this prime location. Step outside the door and walk to dining, coffee shops, boutiques, and art galleries. The 400 SF terrace allows for panoramic views of the urban city center and Beaucatcher Mountain in the distance. This is the ideal spot for group gatherings such as a girls’ trip, a family adventure looking to combine nature and city sights, or even a special couples’ trip.

Security cameras are in operation in public spaces, and commercial sprinklers and fire alarm systems are fitted throughout the building.

This unit is on the second floor, there are many steps to access the unit, and the building does not have an elevator. For this reason, the unit is not wheelchair accessible and is best suited to active people and light packers.

Parking is not included but is available nearby. Choose from a gravel lot across the street or a public garage two blocks away (at 164 College St) for $12/day. City of Asheville street metered parking is also available 8 am to 6 pm for $1.50/hr for a maximum of two hours, free after 6 pm until 8 am and on Sundays and holidays.

This apartment is in an urban area with two nightclubs neighboring the building, so It can be very noisy when the club is open: Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Noise is a non-issue the other 4 nights of the week.

For the added comfort of our guests, the windows feature architectural soundproofing with thick engineered glass to dampen exterior noise. We also provide earplugs and sound/noise cancellation machines. Nonetheless, some noise may be experienced and the unit may not be suitable for light sleepers.

Gorgeous rental but read the details
This apartment is stunning. Newly refurbished and extremely spacious. Great location in Asheville. Bright and sunny. Outdoor roof space. Managers are very responsive to questions and requests. For us though, the main thing to be aware of is the two nightclubs located next door to the apartment. While the hosts provided noise machines, earplugs, and did everything in their power to help the issue, it’s just not possible to block out all the low frequency bass sounds coming from the clubs that can last until 2am Th-Sat morning. Two of the rooms seemed worse than the other, and my friends staying in those rooms said that while perhaps the noise didn’t totally prevent them for sleeping, they were not happy with the sound and felt it was disruptive to them each night. So if you’re staying in Asheville from Su-Th night I would highly recommend this place - I think you’d be hard pressed to find a better rental in town. It really is top notch on every level and you can tell that the hosts have spared no expense in their extensive renovations and attention to detail. But for those staying Th-Su I’m not sure my friends and I would be able to recommend this rental (which is unfortunately difficult for me to do as I really want to love this place and recommend it whole heartedly). For families or those with noise sensitivity, you might be better off elsewhere as it’s really impossible to avoid the neighborhood noise given the location.

Spring Break Girls Trip
There are 7 - 10 of us girlfriends who started spring break trips when our children were little. Even though the kids are now all adults, we still travel together a couple of times each year. only 2 out of 8 had been to Asheville before this trip - so finding this perfect location in the River Arts District was wonderful. We were able to walk most places. The loft was beautiful, modern, clean, and comfortable. We cooked breakfast everyday, plus cooked dinner in one night. Plenty of bathrooms and beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the view from top deck overlooking the park square. Since there are no elevators and this is a 3rd floor walk up - do consider smaller-medium bags. We enjoyed the Japanese restaurant and a coffee shop located by entrance to loft. We all agreed that this was one of the best places we have stayed. POP was very helpful with their recommendations. Check in and expecially check out was so easy. We would definitely stay here again.
