The home was very clean and everything was great! The owners got back to us quickly when needed! We will def be staying there again in the future if we make a trip to Fort Worth! 😊
The house has a very nice living space in the front of the house with a large TV. The kitchen has plenty of space for moving around, and there's a large dining table that seats six. The two bedrooms have plenty of space with nice beds. It is located right down the street from Dickie's Arena and very close to the FW Museum of Science and History, Botanic Gardens, FW Zoo, W. 7th St., and downtown.
Nice little house, made some improvements it appears since some previous reviews. Very comfy King bed, nice coffee maker. We did not cook, but be sure to bring any spices, oils or items you may need. Very convenient to the arena and Camp Bowie.
We had a good stay. The only issue we had is we didn't receive check in instructions beforehand so we had to message when we arrived to the property since we couldn't get it. They contacted us shortly after and we were able to get in.

Thank you so much for staying with us, I’m so sorry about delay in messages I did contact VRBO about the issue as all messages for check in are automated and they assured me it was fixed!
Please come back anytime!
There were rodents in the walls scratching all night.
Property manager was slow to respond.
Had trouble with key pad lock.
Lots of lightbulbs burned out.

Response from VrboOwner on 16 Mar 2024
Hi Donna I'm sorry you were unhappy with the stay and after sending pest control out we were able to determine there were no rodents just squirrels on the roof, and I'm quit shocked someone would write a review like this because they were denied a refund after finding out allegations were false.

Liked: Location
Location of this house is about the only thing it has going for it. The home is extremely dark inside and the lack of working bulbs in fixtures most definitely did not help. 2/3 in the living room fan worked. No bulb in the lamp. 2/4 in the dining room worked. 2/3 in each bedroom fan worked and only 1/3 in the bathroom worked until the next morning when it had burned out as well. Super annoying and such an easy fix for the homeowner to maintain. Additionally the 2nd bedroom beds are uncomfortable. The pillows are either flat or giant boulders. The day of check-in I was informed only 1 car could park at the house and an additional car would be 50. I do not remember reading that before booking so if I missed that information that’s on me. If not that should be disclosed and not communicated the day of.
I’ve been managing and hosting short-term rentals in the DFW area for over 10 years, and I truly love creating comfortable, well-thought-out spaces for guests to enjoy. Hospitality is something I take pride in — whether it’s helping families find a home away from home, or giving travelers a relaxing place to unwind after a busy day. My team and I focus on cleanliness, convenience, and great communication so every stay feels smooth and stress-free.

The area has a welcoming community feel and convenient access to everything — perfect for families, travel nurses, and long-term guests looking for comfort and security.
