It provides a safe and cozy space to make your stay enjoyable and unforgettable, which will make you want to return in the future. You can enjoy nature without being too far from civilization. This home provides a cozy place to be with your loved ones. You are only a few minutes from the main hub of the city if you prefer to shop or dine in the quaint restaurants nearby.

Community Impact Program: At Awesome Vacation Homes, Inc. rental properties, every stay gives back. In partnership with Kind Traveler, your stay results in a donation of $1 per night from you to the Friends of Big Bear Alpine Zoo, a licensed wildlife rehabilitation hospital and conservation education center that treats sick, injured and orphaned wildlife in the Big Bear Valley. 100% refund within 24 hours of booking; 50% refund of totals charges 7-30 days before arrival; non-refundable less than 7 days before arrival

The cabin is nice and cozy, perfect for my family of 4. The house has a big backyard with a gate so I was able to let my kids run around, we opened up their tents, they gathered so many pine cones which we plan to paint at home. They have utensiles, plates, cups, dish soap and a sponge to wash the plates which all that came in handy because we used the bbq grill that was outside, I definitely recommend this place, perfect area and town to be in.

Fantastic Backyard and Cozy Home

Perfect babymoon weekend getaway for my wife and our two large dogs. The place has a nice living room area, kitchen appliances, and heaters available for the winter. It was easy to communicate with Nancy about our arrival and check-out times. Plus the location is close to the lake and a quick drive to the Village. Great spot if you have young kids or dogs and need the space!

Ok for a budget stay

The pros: The backyard is huge. There's a grill and a picnic table so a nice place to grill and hang out.The location is nice. It's quiet but close to anything you would need in Big Bear. The pie shop next door is AMAZING. Definitely check them out.The host, Nancy, is responsive to issues as they arose.The cons: The bed in the master bedroom sinks in the middle, so you're forced to sleep on the very edge of the bed. The second bedroom has a queen but it's definitely a cot and not an actual bed.The blinds and window sills are filthy which makes me question how clean the rest of the house really is.The sink in the master bathroom sprays water ALL over you when you turn it on. It's probably best to avoid that sink all together.The yard is huge, which is great. However, it's very unkempt. There were several Pacifico beer bottle caps littered throughout the yard as well as other trash. There are a few pieces of the fence that have come down and those wooden planks are scattered. It's not a huge deal except it's a pet friendly house, so you have to be super careful that your dog doesn't step on one of those. There were large nails sticking out of them. There's laminated paper on the hutch in the living room. It has instructions such as the WiFi. This is outdated and the WiFi information is incorrect. You can find the correct WiFi info on the router in the master bedroom--Not a deal breaker or a big deal just an FYI for future guests.

Cute Big Bear Cabin

Cabin was well equipped for all our needs, including heater for cold nights.. Fenced in lot was great for our dog and the location was perfect for a short walk to a variety of places to eat.

Cozy And Convenient

Cozy stay.Had everything we needed. Very close to everything without all the traffic. Quiet area and AMAZING pie shop right next door. Easy check in/out. Really enjoyed our getaway.
