This large 1200 sq st unit with three bedrooms, (located in Loft area) , sleeps 6 (Cal king; twin; double; (2) twin... ) totally remodeled:. Kitchen : , new stainless steel appliances, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and stove/ oven.; stainless sink, quartz counter tops, refacing cabinets, new paint and fixtures , kitchen incudes spices, crock pot, mixer, blender, chopper, cooking and baking needs and BBQ . New carpet and painting through out, remodeled in bath, bedrooms and living room.

This spacious unit is approx. 1200 sq ft, with fireplace, large covered balcony decorated with out door furniture, BBQ, VIEWS, two Flat screen TV's, streaming only with Free wifi, Kitchen bar sits three, dining table accommodates 6, with leaf available to accommodate 8

One locker provided at the entry into the building. Must bring your own lock.

*****Owner is not held responsible if the pool, Jacuzzi, rec room or laundry room and electors is close for unexpected repairs. Hot water heater is 50 gallons electric hot water heaters , it does not re heat as fast as gas. Therefore, if you take long shower or baths or take several showers in a row, run the dishwasher and use the sink hot water all you may run out of hot water temporarily. The owner is not held responsible. It will take a few hours to re heat.

Be careful. Not friendly for little kids. There is a spiral staircase that is very dangerous. And there are upstairs bedrooms that are lofts with opening. Again not safe for little kids. Location and amenities are great, just wish there was a disclosure of the spiral staircase, not a weak there are stairs.

No Bedrooms, We Left· Guests should not have to dig through reviews to discover an accurate representation of a property. We have taken our family to Mammoth for 15 years, and this was the first time a rental did not match the description and listed misleading photos. We left less than 24 hours after arriving and moved to a hotel for the remainder of our 4-night stay. · There are no bedrooms. Two “lofts” are completely open to the downstairs and the hallway. Blinds that don’t fully close are in place of a wall. Guests can hear every word throughout the unit. · The lofts are not safe for young children The rim is shorter than 19 inches, with a large gap between the rim and a railing at 3 feet. · The third “bedroom” is a walk-in closet with two cut outs in the wall.·There were blood stains on one of the mattresses. It did not have a mattress protector. · We notified the owner when we left and requested a refund for two of the four nights, even though we only stayed one night. · The owner was very difficult to communicate with. We emailed her our notice of vacancy, which she ignored. She also refused to respond to our request through Vrbo and ultimately denied any sort of refund. ·Vrbo gave us 300 as an apology. ·Support said to not sign the owner's additional contract. She is collecting your personal information to book off-platform (offered in the welcome binder). When owners refuse to communicate with disappointed guests, there’s nothing you can do.

Great place, perfect location

My family of 3 really enjoyed staying here. Being able to walk to the gondola and many restaurants is a big plus, and we enjoyed cozying up by the fire after skiing. After moving our stuff in and getting groceries, we never had to drive anywhere. The garage was definitely nice too since it snowed while we were there but our car was clean and ready to go when we had to go.

Great location

Rented out the third floor unit. The upstairs BR’s were essentially lofts. Great for sleeping but not necessarily private as you could be heard and hear throughout the entire condo. Having to use the bathroom at night by going down the spiral staircase was an adventure. Great location with easy access to Village Gondola.

Perfect Setup

Just got back home and wanted to let everyone know how woderful my experience was. The condo was super clean and right in the village. After we unloaded our car we never saw it again. The village was fantastic, lots of food, drinks, and plenty of shopping for weekend travelers. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for easy access in and out. Gandola is a 90 second walk from the condo.

Perfect Family Friendly Ski Vacation

My family from Colorado enjoyed a wonderful stay over our spring break. The location was fantastic with small children to go skiing and enjoy the activities at the village. If youv'e got a family, its worth the extra cost to stay here. The condo was very clean andand tastefully decorated but comfy with kids. The space was really well put together for functionality with a family of 5 - it easily accomodated 2 adults and a three young kids. Everything you could think of was included in the kitchen. Owner was very responsive to our needs. Answered a call from us immediately.

Spring Break

Great location could walk to the Village in 1 minute. Easy communication w owner. Nice to have safe assigned parking spot. Building had some college parties due to spring break but they were nice when we asked to keep it down since it was after 11pm and no problems after that. One item to note is parking code is same as building code to get in (we might have missed that in the instructions). My kids liked the spiral stairs. Beds were comfortable and snow was amazing.

Great location

Great location convenient to the village gondola and restaurants. Nice unit but needs some maintenance. The bedroom/loft arrangement is unique - not really any bedrooms, just a loft with a wall separating it into two sleeping areas. Steep narrow spiral staircase to access. The rental agreement had a few surprises - nothing terrible, just unexpected and unusual. A sample of this should be made available at the time of the reservation.

Quiet, cozy condo mere steps from The Village.

We just spent Thanksgiving weekend at this condo in Fireside. The condo is very clean and cozy with a fully equipped kitchen, two TV's and comfortable beds/bedding. The best part is the location. You literally walk 100 feet (if that) and you are in the middle of The Village (shops, dining, retail and gondola to Canyon Lodge). We skied at the main lodge, which has a bus stop right across the street - very easy and accessible. While you are close to the Village, you are not staying right over it, which leads to a much quieter, peaceful stay. All in all, a great experience. Becky is a great owner and really takes great care in communicating everything you need to know to make your stay enjoyable and worry-free. We will be back!

Last Minute Getaway to Mammoth

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. There was plenty of room for myself, wife and 3 kids. The condo was clean on our arrival and kitchen is well stocked. We were able to cook several meals and use the BBQ on the patio. The location was just a few minutes walk to Mammoth Village. We didn't mt. bike ride, but the bus to take you up to the trails is a short walk right in front of the village. The only surprise I found was that there was no A/C. Not really needed since the nights do cool off in the summer. However we did have 1 or 2 nights where it was a little warm and there was no breeze. If you go in the summer you may want to bring a small fan. Also, as another user said, the spiral staircase is narrow so it is a little bit of challenge to bring up any luggage. Communication with property manager, Becky, was pleasant and was able to get in touch with her every time. She provided clear instructions on check-in. Would recommend this property for summer or winter visit.

Functional condo, great location

This condo is nicely decorated and is in a great location for skiing and walking to restaurants. Renters should be aware that two of the three bedrooms are loft style so one wall is open to the downstairs with only blinds covering the open space. Also, there is only one bathroom which is located on the first floor and is difficult to navigate to in the middle of the night because of the tight spiral staircase. This was not a problem for us but might be for families with small children and/or older adults. The property itself is well maintained and the manager/crew did a great job of shoveling snow off roofs and walkways during unprecedented snowfall in the area. Having access to underground parking was very nice. One thing that was kind of a bummer was that the owner's communication style was pretty terse and demanding. Fortunately for us, we were put in touch with her son during our stay and he was a gem! He stuck with us while we navigated the weather/road situation and ultimately helped us extend our stay when the roads were closed. He was very easy to communicate with and was kind. Huge thank you to him!!

Nice clean place with awesome location...

Just returned from a good few days in mammoth and stayed at this nice property. Very clean and upgraded. The undergrown "heated" parking and location were really ideal. The owner (Becky) is very nice and accomodating, not to mention the nice wine waiting for us when we arrived. thank you. The location of this place really allows you to NEVER drive your vehicle once you arrive. ALL the best restaurants and shops in Mammoth are yards, yes yards, away. The unit is attached to a 1 bedroom unit and if you liked you could sleep 10 in these places for a discount. Anyway, Please note that there is only one drawback to the 2 bedroom unit. The bedrooms are connected upstairs on an open loft. The lone bathroom is on the bottom floor, and the little spiral staircase not friendly for kids or people that can't maneuver small steep spiralling stairs. so beware. This unit is definately not handicap friendly. The 1 bedroom I imagine is however. and if it is anywhere as clean and upgraded as this unit, look into it.

Great location, condo needs improvement

Rented for our annual Mammoth visit. Pictures looked ok but walked in to something different. Condo is outdated and not upgraded. Furnishings are ok. Heater did not work when we turned the knob. Had to purchase our own firestarters to maintain fire for 3 days. Positives - had enough firewood and location is awesome. Was notified by owner within 2 days of our departure that we chipped a dresser. She informed us that we may be charged for a brand new dresser or repair of old dresser which was kept for another room. It's been 26 days and counting since our visit and we are still waiting for the bill and remaining security deposit. Reason given for the delay is Mammoth is remote but a month should be enough to service your customers' needs. Not returning to Fireside, going back to the Village this year as the accommodations are better with professional property management.

Would rent again but need couple things

Overall impression was good.Very Clean awesome closeness to Gondala. so can consider ski in ski out. Close to grocery store ,resturants and shops. However 1)TP was the cheapest essentially sandpaper but much thinner 2)Need more towel racks, says can sleep 6 which I agree But only 2 towel racks, where do the other 2-4 people hang their towels. Can put 2 on each of the bathroom doors and solve problem easily. They are inexpensive and easy to put up. Can also put one in shower but that is more difficult. 3)Please tell guests that There are washer and dryer but you need 2$ in quarters for wash and 75c for dryer. Nobody wanted to give change, could have brought if knew it was pay as you go. Also only one set for a lot of people to use. Lastly 4)instructions to use cable vs DVD for TV. MY wife had hip injury and stayed in room for 4 days while kids and myself did the skiing.She is a smart lady but couldn't figure it out. I did figure it out but instructions would have been helpful. Part of the issue was that I had to unplug HD cable from cable box and plug into dvd player to watch DVDs ,then put back for cable. A second HD cable or cheaper version 3 plug system would work as well.

Not a great place

The place is not great. 1. There is tight spiral staircase to bring up your luggage, where the 3 "rooms" are. Im strong, luckily 2. This was a loft that then was converted to 3 rooms. The rooms are not private at all. Everyone can hear each other snore, go to the bathroom as since this was a loft there are no walls that go to the lower living area. So work while others are sleeping is not an option. 3. The only bathroom is down the tight spiral stair case. Try that late at night 4. The cabinet door fell off in our hands. This has happened times before as the screws are all messed up and on other cabinets 5. The jacuzzi has been out of service for a while. We chose this location for the jacuzzi...Of course the owner says read your contract. Its one thing if it just broke, but its another thing if it has been broken and she doesn't alert you and perhaps even offer a discount. 6. It was real loud as the neighbors were having parties...not the owners fault though 7. The dishes were left in the dishwasher for us to put away and the coffee pot was left with grounds...not a biggie 8. The captains chairs at the counter are literally on their last leg . 9. The property is pretty worn. 10 The smoke detectors are not installed correctly so in emergency,.. I'm a vacation property owner and I understand that things happen but I don't always say "Read your contract"...which is not clear at all. No directions in the room for leaving Good location though

Great Location/Family friendly

Spacious, cozy and fun. We had a great time-easily fit our family -kids loved it. The clubhouse was a huge plus with the Heated pool, jacuzzi and ping pong. We could walk right to Canyon Lodge/Gondola. The spiral staircase and single bathroom downstairs was a bit tricky for us parents with old knees ;)

Great location when visiting mammoth

Great vacation rental close to the village gondola. Very convenient for skiing at mammoth. Also next door to mammoth brewing, which is great for food and drinks after a day of skiing.
