Peaceful Winter Retreat

We had a great time and would book again. The cabin is very comfortable and exactly as pictured. Dina was a wonderful host and was very responsive. As other reviewers have noted, the stairs in the cabin are steep.

Neat and cozy cabin

Great cozy cabin for the family to sleep after a great day skiing! It’s very close Sierra at Tahoe. The upstairs bedroom setting is like it’s out of the Goldilocks story :).The host was very responsive. If you reach late at night it can be hard to spot, just go down the stairs next to the basketball court and turn left.

Perfect little cabin in the woods

We stayed here as a family of 4 (including 2 kids) while enjoying skiing at Sierra at Tahoe which is very close by. There is a small sledding hill in between the cabins, a larger cabin dedicated as a game room (pool table, foosball, air hockey, indoor basketball, bag toss, etc.) and overall just a quiet peaceful setting. We brought our own food for meals because there isn't much around restaurant or market wise to go to. The cabin was quite small but fit our family of 4 fine for a couple of days. The stairs are just as challenging as they look for those with physical mobility issues. The kitchen is not fully stocked with all kitchen items you potentially need, so bring essential items. Would stay here again!

What makes this property unique

located in the beautiful High Sierras of Northern California on the border of Desolation Wilderness (6200 ft. above sea level). We are only twenty minutes from South Lake Tahoe and 67 miles from Sacramento.
During the winter we have a great sledding hill; also, your group can go skiing at Sierra-at-Tahoe which is just down the road from the cabin. Of course, there is easy access to all the recreational venues of the Tahoe Basin
