Spacious comfortable house in Chevy Chase MD close to DC and everything!
We love our house with its fireplace and two charming living rooms and a large eat in kitchen and 4 Full Bedrooms and 4 Full Bathrooms. Our master Suite is beautiful with 6 large windows. Every room has at least 2 windows. Our back porch is another room overlooking a charming flower garden. There is an exercise room in the basement with 2 stationary bikes, weights, yoga mats and a lot of equipment. A 3 minute walk takes you to a lovely and fun French restaurant, a woman's clothing store, a market, a drug store, a diner, a hair salon, a yoga and pilates studio and a cleaners. A 5 minute drive takes you to many restaurants, shops and movie theatre. The park is within walking distance with trails for hiking and biking. Also, being only 5 minutes from our nations capitol, The Mall and all the historic Museums are 25 minutes away by car, 10 minute ride on the Metro, and the Bethesda Metro Stop is a 15 minute walk, 5 minute drive from us.

We've lived in Chevy Chase for 40 years. This house we bought 15 years ago after our children grew up. It is perfect for the two of us but allows us, also, to have many over-nite guests. The neighborhood, Martins Additions, is lovely with trees and flowers gardens. The residents are a mixture of families with children of all ages and couples. Our grandchildren love staying with us with all the other kids around and the park and playgrounds within walking distance. We are outdoorsy people so we love the mixture of outside activities and privacy when
Why they chose this property
Our children and grandchildren all went to the excellent day cares and public schools, again, within walking, biking and 5 to 10 minute driving distance. Though so much is close by our street is quiet and nestled.
What makes this property unique
I think the many windows bring wonderful light. The many trees shade us enough so that it stays cool in the summer and cozy in the winter. Also, 4 Bedrooms and 4 Full Baths and a beautiful living area with a fireplace make this house so livable.
