Overall, the cabin was first-class in all of it's amenities. The beds were comfortable, hot tub was situated in the perfect environment to see the stars at night, and the popcorn and coffee presentation was well-appreciated. We enjoyed the fire-pit that overlooked the pond and the property is perfect for those travelers seeking peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of life. You do not need to overlook a beach either because you are 10 minutes from the beach. If you enjoy hiking, this property will accommodate your wishes. Highly recommend!Thank you Peter!
This house was so cute and had room for everyone…including the pets. The layout was nice, everything was fully stocked, and absolutely clean! Outdoors was calm and peaceful.
We would definitely love to stay again!
Me and my boyfriend came from Milwaukee for his birthday weekend to relax and unplug. The house was stocked with everything you would need. Tons of towels, blankets, kitchen appliances, plates, coffee, etc. Having the grill was also amazing because we cooked all our meals there and ate on the patio. Sitting in the hot tub was perfect at night the stars are super bright!
We enjoyed our two week stay at this peaceful getaway. The house was neat and clean and well stocked with anything you would need. The location was close to local conveniences. The hot tub was relaxing, and we enjoyed a night by the pond with a fire in the pit. It was just what we wanted.
We really enjoyed being able to get together with friends and our kids at this Vrbo! The owner Peter was very communicative and accommodating, and the property is insanely peaceful. It’s very private with tons of nature around!
Everything was clean with lovely amenities throughout the home, and ending our evening in the hot tub enjoying a clear starry sky was the absolute best. Would definitely stay here again, thank you so much!

Thank you Emily. Hopefully you will visit us again.
We enjoyed our weekend getaway at this cabin. We were specifically looking for something in a rural area to “check out” of life for a weekend, and get some R & R- and this was just that. The hot tub was a true bonus- nice and hot with a great view of the night sky. We bought all of our groceries at a little grocery store in town and cooked our own meals all weekend-the kitchen had everything we needed to make that happen. Peter was great at communicating with any questions we had.
Around 10 pm the first night when we went to turn on the air conditioning that was listed on VRBO. Having 4 small children, 2 elderly parents with COPD and a dog susceptible to heat stroke we wouldn’t have chosen this house if it didn’t have air conditioning. It was making screeching sounds very loudly. Peter just advised me to open the windows. It was still pretty warm, but bearable. The screens weren’t secure and let in a lot of bugs (must have been 20 ticks) and the fuses were blowing often. Second day it was hotter and I didn’t get any message from Peter about whether or not he was going to fix it. We didn’t want to be a bother, so we put up with it. It was about 80 the second night indoors. The third night I did message him and let him know I might have to go elsewhere. I was up all night with my two year old who wouldn’t settle due to the heat. It was 85 degrees inside and 90 percent humidity. Peter called in the morning and told me he couldn’t get anyone to fix the air conditioner right then, and that he knew for a full year that it’d been making noises. This appalled me, because it could’ve presented a danger to his guests. He again advised us to open a window and told us that if we left he “might consider a partial refund”. We had money tied up then and there were no vacancies nearby. This man falsely represented his home and knowingly put his guests in bad situations and then offered me a discount if I stay again instead of a refund.
