The perfect getaway

Our group of 10 humans and 2 dogs absolutely loved our time at the cabin! The water made for an incredible view (and the most gorgeous sunrise I've ever seen), and the house was roomy, clean, and so very well stocked. We loved getting to play in the huge yard or in the game room indoors. Tori was so knowledgable about the area and the wildlife and anything we wanted to know. Our trip was beautiful and perfect. Thank you for an amazing week!

Amazing Experience

We just spent 5 days for Thanksgiving and it was the most relaxing and wonderful family bonding time that we couldve asked for. The house was clean, fully stocked, beautiful and exactly what was advertised.

Home away from home

This was our third time visiting and as always, it was wonderful. The cabin comes fully stacked with all necessities, which made our stay very easy and stress free. Beautiful lakeside and remote location make it a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the peace.

Nice Getaway

This stay provided us with a nice break from the real world. Close enough to Escanaba for some interaction with other people, but secluded enough to feel like you’re the only people for miles. We had a lovely time.

Escanaba Getaway

Beauty and Fun right outside your door!

We enjoyed a fun stay with our extended family including kids, teens and adults. The weather for our week was mixed but this home provided fun inside and out. The view from the great room was outstanding. On the cool rainy day we had a fire in the fireplace and played indoor games. When the sun came out, water play and games in the front lawn were a ton of fun! We also spent a day exploring both Escanaba and Menominee and fishing in Cedar River. This home had everything we needed and we loved the location. Thank you!!

Great place for family vacation

10 of us and our dog had a wonderful time at this great lake home. Good layout and very comfortable with many sources of entertainment: tvs, indoor and outdoor games, well stocked with towels and kitchen items. Great lake view and and nature watching.. Also very close to beaches and parks. Thank you for your hospitality!

Lovely time on the lake

The home is beautiful and the lake beckons all day. Our kids had so much fun running around the large property, exploring the trails, and finding rocks & beach glass down by the water. The sleeping accommodations are fantastic, owners were wonderful to communicate with. Wonderful stay overall.

Perfect

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Sanctuary Cabin. It was the perfect getaway from the Missouri heat and humidity. The location was absolutely perfect. You are steps away from Lake Michigan and they built stairs for easy access. We had our dog with us and he absolutely loved it. The house was comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen was outstanding and the appliances were new. Plenty of everything you needed. The communication with Michael and Tori Was excellent. We had a couple simple questions and they were able to reply right away. If you were looking for a relaxing spot on Lake Michigan, I cannot recommend this spot enough!

Beautiful Lake View!

The view at this property is just stunning, looking east over Lake Michigan. Watching the full moon rise and seeing the full lunar eclipse was great. It is so quiet and peaceful. Tori and Michael are great hosts.

Wonderful stay!

Our family of four and furry family member had an incredible time visiting this beautiful property. There was more than enough room for everyone to have their own space and we loved out daily walks by the lake. That view is absolutely incredible!! The games in the garage were a nice bonus- especially on the rainy days. We can’t wait to return in the future!

Perfect family vacation!

My family and I have had an emotional year especially after losing my father unexpectedly. Being able to vacation here with our best friends, Godson, and children was just a blessing! Our son is autistic and has a lot of sensory needs and this home was a home away from home for him. The property owners were amazing at communication and we look forward to future stays there!

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful log home on a huge piece of property right by the "Big Water" (Green Bay)! I've been coming to this area for over 50 years now and never get tired of it. This is my third time staying at Sanctuary Shores and I definitely will be back! P.S. The hosts are awesome!

Beautiful property

We highly recommend staying at Sanctuary Shores, the property was amazing, extremely quiet and serene. The cabin was very clean, roomy and spacious and had everything one would need for their stay. We heard loons and had deer visit. We enjoyed being able to get down to the Lakeshore. Our family made lots of memories at the cabin and as we ventured to numerous sites within driving distance from the cabin. Great place and hope to visit again !

Beautiful home, beautiful view

We spent last week in this beautiful home. We had 8 adults and one baby. Plenty of room. Owner supplied wood for nightly campfires which was so nice. Has 2 nice areas to gather so we could be together but also read quietly in another part of home. Absolutely recommend.

We were born and raised on the shores of Lake Michigan. We love the stunning sun rises in the morning and the mirror like calm of early morning and the sometimes gentle lapping of water and other times crashing surf in the afternoons and evenings. The beauty of watching a storm sweep across the incredible blue waters is an amazing sight to behold. The cracking fire on the beach while the sun sets and sharing stories with friends and family bring peace and serenity. Sharing favorite memories while sitting around the stone hearth fireplace in the great room warms the soul and the bones.
