We were there for our daughter's graduation and the location was perfect - short uber from Logan and quick trips to Cambridge. would defintely do it again.
Wonderful, relaxing, quiet marina. Everything you need is nearby. The boat is well maintained, very clean, and has all the essentials. While some of us went to a concert, the others just relaxed and enjoyed the peace. Boston has something for everyone!!!
The boat and the Navy Yard/ wharf area were awesome! Sherrie checked us in and made sure we had everything we needed and was super helpful. The area was full of history and felt super safe. My little boy ran on the wharf in the morning as the sun came up and my girls took pictures in the area after dark. It was an awesome experience all around. Highly recommend!
Comfortable houseboat in the harbor. Convenient location, a lot of sites within walking distance. Host very friendly and great communication. Easy check in and out. 5 stars!
I stayed here with friends for my graduation. This was such a unique place right outside of Boston. The houseboat was clean and had everything I could want. Boston is close and the parking was convenient.
Came for marathon weekend. This is a little off the beaten path, but perfect for an insane weekend. Kids loved the loft. We would usually do the 20-30 min walk into the city, otherwise Uber is great. Beautiful location, peaceful - would stay again in a heartbeat!
We’d never stayed in a houseboat previously, and I’m surprised how much we loved the stay on the “Blue Pearl”. My kids loved the loft, and the gentle boat rocking. The location was excellent— a short ferry ride to long wharf, and we even had a front row view to the Harborfest fireworks. It was great having a kitchen & full-size fridge to cook dinners/breakfasts.The marina itself was super quiet, and we had a quiet restful stay. We had groceries delivered and were able to save money cooking on our trip. The boat itself was clean, comfortable (two window unit ACs), and well cared for. We have rented RVs before so the marine toilet/black tank was no sweat for us.Deb and Sherry were easy to communicate with both before and day-of checkin. We’d absolutely return to the Blue Pearl—it was a delight for us and our kids!
Perfectly quiet & relaxing for spring break vacation!
I had read in a novel about a family who lived on a house boat in the upper East coast area and wanted to experience it. This was the perfect way to experience house boat life! It was quiet and peaceful. My kids thought it was so fun too! It was a perfect location. Easy to get to North End, really anywhere if you were willing to walk, yet nice to retreat to when done exploring!
The house boat was amazing!! It was so relaxing and such a unique place to stay. Everyday after touring Boston it felt like we got to go home. We would stay here forever if we could.
Had a wonderful time the views were great. The neighbors were great. Also, the area and the location I have been to before in the military, and it was nice being back in that area.
The Blue Pearl houseboat was the perfect homebase for our after Christmas Boston adventure with our 11 and 8 year old daughters. The location was convenient for everything we wanted to do in Boston. The boat was warm and inviting even in December. The shower was great. Check-in
