I absolutely fell in love with the property as soon as we pulled up. It was well kept and had enough space for each couple to be comfortable. I also loved the backyard leading up the hill. The house is close to outside activities and stores and had the BEST view of the then frozen lake. I would definitely stay again.

The house was really pretty and very clean. Loved the backyard but gate was locked and we couldn't get to trail as easily. But it was still a great weekend.

Thank you so much! See you next time you’re in Big Bear!
We really enjoyed being in this area. the park across the street was great for the dog and for the 3 year old to go and hang out. Also when relaxing on the deck we love to people watch. Everything was great. we wish the front yard was not so close to the highway. but over all a great experience.

Hi Cindy! Thank you for leaving a review with us. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay at Boulder Bay Park Lakefront! The location of the cabin is definitely a perk, having a lake and park nearby is always great. Thank you so much for staying with us! We hope to have you back soon. :)
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is directly across the street from the lake where you can rent kayaks or go into the water from a small beach area. Note that the house is located on the busy main street but that didn't bother us. The actual house has so much space and comfortably slept a family of 6 and could have slept many more. We stayed there during COVID and the house was clean upon our arrival. Thank you.

Spacious and clean
Positives: very spacious. Many sleeping options for family. Large dining area and living room. Yard for dog. Walk to boulder bay park. Clean upon arrival. Staff very attentive to texts and calls.
Negatives: spa did not heat above about 90 degrees. Could use attention/troubleshooting. Setting was to 104 the entire visit. Directly on big bear blvd so road noise is audible. Concern for kids and dog crossing street. No entertainment for kids (no games or pool table or foosball or similar). No TV downstairs. No dishwasher. Downstairs shower head can be replaced. Very poor cell phone reception.
Thank you to big bear cool cabins for a very nice visit and for your attentiveness and always picking up the phone we always check your website when we come up to big Bear and have never had a bad experience.

Awesome but still lacking
The staff was phenomenal and the cabin's location was great. The only issues that we experienced were more of the "creature comfort" variety. There was no washer or dryer, which is a bit problematic after a day (or multiples) on the slopes and in the snow. There was also no dishwasher, which assigned time doing chores after every meal. There was also no designated Master Bathroom attached to any of the bedrooms. Also, not a huge deal if you are with a smaller party but it was a little inconvenient even with a party of four. All-in-all, we had a great time and would highly recommend using Big Bear Cool Cabins for your Big Bear getaway.

Good location, lacking a lot of comforts
While the location of this cabin was good, the interior has some issues. The cabinets were completely bare (not even salt) and the upstairs master has an ant problem in the bathroom. The heating was poorly distributed. Some rooms were a sauna while others were freezing. The fire place also came with no instructions or key to turn on the gas. The tv is in a weird location, not very conducive to group watching, and unfortunately there weren't any boardgames, dice, or cards to use. For the high price, we expected more.

Hello, Heather!
I am so sorry to hear the home lacked basic essentials. We do sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered. We have made these items aware to the appropriate departments to have them resolved immediately. As for the fireplace, it is advertised as a wood burning fireplace which is why we do not provide instructions nor the key to utilize that amenity. We hope to see you soon!

Great Stay - So Busy and Really Loud Street Noise
Well, this was a great stay for our group of 10, however....there was no propane in the grill, place settings for 8 and not 1 steak knife (but Cool Cabins arrived on day 2 to remedy all...thanks). We checked in Thursday at 4:00 and Friday at 10:00pm the hot water heater died and we didn't have hot water for the remainder of our stay (checked out Monday)...they gave me $500 refund (which seems really low) to have no hot water for more the 1/2 my stay and 10 people taking cold showers and no hot water to wash dishes...
The house was really nice, love the dining table that fit all 10 of us...it was so crowded in Big Bear, the road noise was really loud and traffic all day was insane right outfront the door. The power went out for 6 hours on Saturday which also didn't go well for traffic (lights out) and getting anywhere was a nightmare in the car....all in all, good trip but not the peaceful mountain/lake retreat we were looking forward to. Next time definitely won't stay right on Big Bear Blvd.

Nice view and location
The best it’s the location and the lake view, everything else was just ok, I was expecting more for the price, when we enter there was a drain smelling, it went away with hot water, also the cleaning it’s only superficial, we found Easter eggs and candy wrap, my wife got allergies because of the dust, there was not clear instructions where to find the entry key, they said mailbox, there is not mailbox there, we ran out of propane when we were barely starting using the grill, the good and impressive part was that someone brought a full tank in a short time after I texted them, another disappointment was that at the end a had to carry the trash bags in my car to the bins that are located a mile away, how is that they cannot send someone to pick it up after checking out? I think that should be part of the service, anyway the Jacuzzi was clean and works properly, I think cool cabins management has to put a little bit more attention to the cleaning and customer service, but as I said, the house itself it’s great

Hello Wilson,
Thank you so much for your feedback. We are happy to hear you had such a great time at your cabin! We do our best to provide our guests with efficient communication, we are glad you experienced this. Unfortunately, it is city ordinance for guests to dispose of their trash at a dump upon check out. We do offer to do this for our guests for an additional fee of $50. We understand how this can be inconvenient. Thank you so much for staying with us. We hope to have you back soon!!

The back yard is amazing! The kids had a great time exploring!!! Overall, we had a good time! There was dust and cobwebs! Plus, the kitchen needs more pots and pans! We brought quite a few and we're thankful! The only other negative is no washer and dryer on site. Like I said, overall, we had the best Thanksgiving ever!

Our experience with this company was terrible. They are rude and so no interest in their business. It shows in dealing with their employees and the condition and cleanliness of the property they manage.

Beautiful home with an incredible view
This is a beautiful Tuscan cabin across from scenic Boulder Bay. It had just snowed so it was a very busy weekend. The gated front porch eliminated worry that my dog would run out into the street. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped except for wine glasses. We all enjoyed a wonderful weekend.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.
