Incredible opportunity to stay in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Austin, Texas.

This home is one of a kind, beautifully maintained and comfortable. Access to every great adventure Austin has to offer. The home reflects the incredible cultural thing that Austin is. This great home accommodated our big family with ease. Lots of privacy, tons of room for mingling.

Cozy Stay

Very cute home! 10 mins from downtown austin!! Quiet neighborhood. It is an actual lived in home, so there are a lot of the home owner’s personal belonging in the home. Was a bit strange at first but overall great stay.

Girl's Weekend

We had a fantastic girl's weekend in Austin. Caroline's beautiful home was perfect for us. It was clean, inviting and had ample space for us. It was located in a beautiful neighborhood with a fantastic park across the street. This was perfect for the young children in our party. The location of the home was perfect as well. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!!

Currently being lived in Trendy VRBO house a bit disappointing...

Our group of 11 girls recently stayed at the Trendy House in Austin. We booked this house because it was close to downtown Austin (a plus), and it accommodated our large group. When we arrived, however, we were a bit disappointed to find that the owner currently lives in it (closets full of clothes, bathtubs had kids toys in them, personal items around the house, etc...). Had we know this we may not have booked this home- No where in the description or reviews did it say "lived in". Among the people in our group, we have booked hundreds of VRBOs and have never had this experience of staying in a "lived in VRBO". The home had both pros and cons, listed below. I'll start with the PROS: - Great location, only minutes from downtown austin - accommodations for our large group - owner was quick to respond to questions via text - 3.5 bathrooms, that were clean, which was good for a large group of girls CONS: - unbeknownst to us, the house is currently being lived in. No where in the description or reviews did it mention this so we were a little taken aback. Because it was currently being lived in , obviously with children , there was some "cleanliness" issues that were not up to our groups standards. - Carpets were very dirty and stained in almost all rooms - had to take pictures so we could prove it was there upon our arrival. - kitchen trash can was full of garbage upon our arrival- we had to take it out when we got there. - all of the bedding on the beds was stained and dirty looking - it may have been "washed" , but it did not appear clean. Not one person from our group felt comfortable sleeping on any of the bedding - one duvet cover in particular had a chocolate/blood(?) stain of some kind on it. We ended up stripping all beds, wash all the bedding, and remaking the beds which was not a welcome task for our group upon arrival. - pullout sofa sleeper was available but no sheets were left out for it. We had to find the linen closet and dig through it to find a sheet set, which was weird. - we were also asked to place dishes in dishwasher prior to checking out, but the dishwasher hadn't even been unloaded yet, so we were unable to do any dishes (because we were not going to unload the dishwasher, too!) While there were some pros to staying in this house, unfortunately the cons outweighed those pros. When I come to Austin again, I will not be booking the Trendy House again, because I can't get over having to wash my own bedding!

Caroline was an incredible host, and her home is beautiful and centrally located in Austin. A 10 min walk from Barton springs and Zilker Park for ACL music festival. Great times!

Lack of Cleanliness

Unfortunately, upon check in we struggled with unlocking the lock keypad because the battery was dead. Soon after getting in, all guests noticed the linen and towels were not fully cleaned.. there was makeup stains along with other miscellaneous stains on them. It was a bit unsettling because we spoke with to owner few days before who informed me that the cleaning service would be there the morning before we check in. Thankfully it was very easy to reach the owner and she was able to update the lock key pad. The linen and towels we cleaned in the washer and dryer on property ourselves before use.. this was inconvenient as it took from our time spending enjoying the trip. Aside from that, the area is easy commute [10-15min ] to Rainey, Llamar, 6th street, & springs.

Lovely Home!

The most "Austin-esque" house we could've dreamed of!

I recently booked this house with five girlfriends for a bachelorette party. It was PERFECT for us! It is managed by Evolve Vacation Rentals which was a little different than what I'm used to (they don't utilize the VRBO messaging system), but nothing too complicated or frustrating. Caroline, the owner, was put in touch with us closer to the actual trip dates. She was more than accommodating and was easily available via text message. The neighborhood is very family-oriented (right across from a park, too!) so I would highly recommend for just about any travel group. Us girls had a fabulous time enjoying the unique artwork and books, sitting on the back deck, and listening to music with the Sonos speakers set up in the living room/kitchen and master bedroom. The beds and bathrooms were exceptionally clean and cozy, and the door keypad was easy to use for locking up before leaving or going to bed. By the end of the trip we were joking that the house was 15min from everywhere we wanted to go aka the house is centrally located to not only downtown Austin, but also lots of other hot spots! Thank you for the awesome visit!!

One of the best rental experiences I’ve had

This property was everything I expected and more. Clean, modern, unique and close to good restaurants/outdoor activities. We absolutely LOVED staying here and joked that we wanted to be friends with Caroline, the owner, because of how at easy she made us feel, her open communication and her amazing style (seriously we loved every piece of art). I can’t say enough good things about this one and want to come back for a family weekend with my husband and two children. They would love that big backyard and fire pit. Thank you for letting us in your home!

Spacious & Chic Austin Getaway

We loved our weekend stay at this immaculately decorated, classically Austin home. The set-up was great for a cozy girl's weekend, and it was the perfect home base for catching up with friends for a few days - and a 10 minute Lyft ride to Matt's El Rancho, South Congress and even East Austin. Our host was so responsive and thoughtful, checking in just enough over the weekend to make sure we had everything we needed but was by no means intrusive. I would absolutely recommend!

This house was simply amazing. The location is great no matter what part of the city you are looking to visit and Caroline was completely wonderful to work with and was so accommodating to our group. There were 9 girls in our group and the funky house with amazing art and a backyard you’ll never want to leave is where you should spend your time in Austin! This house will forever be on my list whenever I go back! Thank you for the trip we will never forget!

Absolutely Amazing

This was the best home away ever! The home has so much character and personality. The location is absolutely stunning. A group of ladies and I celebrated our good friend as she turned 30 and prepares for her wedding. The home was very organized and easy to access. We didn't have anyone bothering us regarding the property. We received an email with all of the instructions for the home and enjoyed our stay. The home owners are very sweet and we all loved being able to enjoy their home for the weekend! I certainly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful home in the Austin area!! It was perfect and our Bride to Be/Birthday Girl truly enjoyed herself!

Wonderful house in a great location

This house was perfect for four couples who went back and forth from ACL. The beds were very comfortable, nice linens and towels. The house was spacious and the back deck very inviting! We were very pleased with the rental!
