We were in town for a wedding, stayed for some DC sight-seeing. The house was easy to get to; close to grocery stores; has off-street parking; patio and deck available; comfortable beds; enough space for gathering to eat and watch a movie after a few long days on our feet. I would stay here again!
We stayed at this house for our family's visit to Washington DC. It was such a beautiful little property, clean, comfortable and a great place to hang out as a family after a long days of sightseeing. Not far from the heart of everything and a nice quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again. Also, beds were comfortable and kitchen nicely stocked.
The property was exactly as listed in a lovely neighborhood. It was perfect for our group. Grocery store and amenites close by. Our only critic was the air conditioning struggled during the extreme heat during our stay. Overall we had a great stay!!
Our family had a great time at this quiet, well-kept 3 BD 1 BA. Would stay here again without hesitation. Great communication with host about getting inside and any questions about the house. Nice main living area TV and internet service. Great bedding and towels with a nice Keurig in the kitchen. Hope we stay again soon!
The space was very nice and clean. However, we didn't have a car, and we were a mile to any services.I wish we had been closer to businesses. But I have no complaints about the house itself.
Check in easy. Kitchen was really nice and clean. Everything was written in the kitchen so it was easy to find everything in the cabinets. The place is modern and well equipped. Instructions are given for everything. It’s a bit far from DC especially if there is traffic, but it’s doable. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated.
We have friends who used to live in the area and invited us to see all that our nation’s capital has to offer. It was an amazing trip and it felt so good to come back to a clean and cute house after long days of sight-seeing. There are MANY small details that helped make our stay that much easier - a hair dryer, soaps, towels, cleaning supplies, iron and ironing board, washer and dryer, toaster, blender, pots and pans and even spices for cooking, broom and vacuum. There were clear and specific instructions for what to do upon check-out. The host was wonderful and easily accessible. We would absolutely stay here again!
Me along with 3 of my girlfriends had a girls weekend and this was the perfect location for it. Everyone was able to sleep in their own bed for a great price. Everything was great and up to standard. The only thing one of my friends complained about was the second bed in the room with 2 beds. The mattress was too firm/hard. I layed on it and it was a lil hard. Other than that Great Spot. Would stay again.
Overall we had a great experience. The location was perfect, close enough to the city for convenience, but far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet away from the busy downtown atmosphere. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and generally well-maintained.The host was responsive, helpful, and made sure the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free.I especially appreciated how well the water maintained its temperature, even with a group of five people, especially five women who were showering daily (and sometimes twice a day). That level of consistency really stood out and added to the comfort of the stay. The neighborhood was also quiet and relaxing, which made it easy to unwind after spending time in DC. For future guests, I’d recommend share rides, as it makes getting to and from DC much more convenient. I do have a few suggestions that could make the stay even better. Replacing the blinds, some were broken in the living area and kitchen, different blinds in the middle room would help reduce sunlight exposure and improve comfort. Updating the doorknob and upgrading one of the beds to a memory foam mattress like the other beds could also enhance the overall sleeping experience for all guests. Adding TVs in the bedrooms would be a nice touch for added convenience. Additionally, pressure washing the exterior and tidying up the yard, including the back porch and seating area, would really elevate the overall appearance and guest experience. Overall, I would recommend!
