Country feel, close to amenities! Three minute drive to beautiful Lake Cadillac or Mitchell State Park, 400 feet from the white pine trailhead. Perfect for summer biking or winter snowmobiling. 2 minute drive to get ice cream, fast food or Cadillac West fine dining.
Beautiful sunsets, large lush green lawn in front & back (2.5 acres). Private outdoor back yard with no residential neighbors directly on either side. A beautiful garden area and even a lookout play fort for the kiddos while you enjoy lounging on the back deck or sitting around a crackling fire (firewood is not supplied, but available nearby).
Gravel Driveway can accommodate multiple vehicles, BOAT PARKING, RV (to park & plug RV is additional charge depending on length of stay, please inquire).
Take advantage of using the 3 kayaks for a paddle on one of the lakes.
Mixing work in with pleasure? You’re covered with fast Starlink Internet and a dedicated workspace desk in the main bedroom.
Also, we have some amazing drinking water from our well. The water is such good quality that the city built brand new well houses next-door.
Two bedroom, one bathroom house, large spacious bathroom, vaulted ceiling in living room, full kitchen, and a grill in the back.
Both bedrooms have blackout curtains. Master bedroom has KING size bed, both beds have 100% cotton sheets. The couch can also serve as a bed. If you take the back cushions off, you’ll have more room to spread out.
Marble dining room table with seating for 6-8, couch with chaise lounge and 2 accent chairs.
Washer and dryer. Microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, hairdryer, iron, flat iron. 55" Smart TV. Brand new full size fridge, brand new dishwasher. Kitchen stocked with: Dishes, pots, pans, and full rack of spices, coffee samples.
If you have a well-behaved dog under 75 pounds that is house trained, they are welcome too. No cats please.
For longer stays 10 days or more there is a deeper cleaning fee. Mid stay cleanings are available for an additional charge.
A small amount of soaps, coffee, dishwasher & washing machine detergents and paper products are supplied, any more needed beyond the portioned amount is guest responsibility, there is a Dollar General less than 3 minutes away for conveniences and has just about any supplies you many need.
There is a vacuum, iron/ironing board, drip coffee maker, electric tea kettle, knife block, stocked spice rack for your convenience.

Leading up to our arrival, communication was excellent, better that I expected! Check in flawless, and the cottage was setup to please. We really enjoyed our stay, being close to everything Cadillac, and a cozy place for us all to meet with our Cadillac family for dinner, games and laughs. Thank you so much!
Absolutely loved our stay. Darling house, fully equipped with every thoughtful convenience. So enjoyed snuggling on the spacious couch wrapped up in an afghan on a chilly March evening. Close to all sorts of shops and restaurants. Can’t wait to come back when the weather is a bit warmer. A beautiful getaway. Sweet and thoughtful host.

The home was everything we expected and the host was more than accommodating. They quickly responded to needs and questions. Great location access to the ski resort and multiple restaurants as well as downtown. We will definitely consider staying here again.
Everything was in great condition. The hosts thought of all things you need as a guest - extra towels, blankets, games, salt for de-icing the deck. The house is right near the snowmobile trails, which is great if you want to rent one or even if you just want a lovely trail to walk.
The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed! It was in a wonderful location! Close to stores and restaurants but private enough in the very peaceful neighborhood. The walking/bike path was very close and we were able to ride our bikes into town! We had a blessed time here and would definitely recommend this place to others.
Julie and Keith were amazing to work with. They went above and beyond with their kindness. The house was so very clean and so cozy. We felt at home for sure. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need and then some. It was close to restaurants and stores. Great location!Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be going back. Thank you again Julie and Keith for everything you did.
Property was perfect for two adults and our pooches. We were looking for peace and quiet in an "up north" setting with access to some amenities if desired. This house offered all of the above.
A very clean, well-furnished, and up-dated property. Well-located in a country setting, but close to the lakes, nice restaurants, McDonalds, fine ice cream shops, and easy to get into the City of Cadillac. Good communication with the host in advance of our stay. Would stay here again.
Beds were super comfortable nice place for a short work trip - recommend over any hotel

This place was absolutely perfect. Quick reply from host and very accommodating when asking for a late check out. We will definitely be staying here again!
The house is perfect. Very clean, huge bathroom. Close to the house there is a wonderful trail for walking and jogging that leads right into Sunnyside Drive.
We enjoyed our stay! It was our first VRBO experience and could not have had better amenities, especially the use of the laundry units! We loved the recommendation of eating at the Clam Lake Beer Co. The entire place was cozy snd comfortable! Would stay again!
We traveled up to Cadillac, MI from the Toledo, Ohio area. The house was just wonderful! Everything was fresh, clean and in its proper place. The bathroom towels were fresh and white! We will look into staying here again! Thank you for a great home away from home.

Why they chose this property
We love this area because of its unique location in Cadillac. In between the 2 lakes, between Cadillac West (115 side) and 'regular' Cadillac. Also a fantastic place for sunsets and sunrises! We love watching the wildlife too!
What makes this property unique
Just a few feet outside the city limits for a countryside setting yet SO close to amenities, 2 minutes to Burkes Restaurant for breakfast, 3 minutes to McDonalds!
