Lakefront Cadillac Cottage on Private Lake - 2BA, Sleep 6-8
Views of rolling hills, trees, and the lakes with only one neighbor on a side? That is what you get when you stay at the Lanser cottage. Relax on the large deck (450sq ft) that is right on the water's edge and watch the summer sun set over the lake. Stoneledge Lake is a private lake and is very quiet, peaceful and relaxing setting for your vacation. no public boat launch
The cottage has everything for your vacation besides your toys, food and drinks. Everything else is included. There is a dock very close to the deck for fishing etc. There is rowboat as well as a paddleboat for your use. Please supply your own lifejackets and life preservers.
The swimming at the cottage is not great due to lily pads. If tenants would like to hang out a swimming beach there is one approximately 100 yds away.

We had a great time at this lake cottage, our second time here. Everything was great, from communication to check-in/out. It was clean, in a great location, and had everything we needed for a comfortable time and experience. There was plenty of parking for our trailer, and it's conveniently close to town.
Mark was very helpful. The fishing was great. Fish were big because of the voluntary catch and release, which i do anyway. Would rent again in the future.
We have extended family close by. We came up to visit with them and fish. My husband and kids had a great time fishing. We brought yard games and played cornhole and ladderball on the nice back deck. We would definitely stay again.
The cottage and lake were very cozy and quiet. There is plenty to do nearby if you didn't want to be on the lake....golf, resturants, entertainment and shops. swimming wasn't the best, but that didn't affect our stay. The hosts were friendly and communicated back quickly when we had any questions.
The house overall was so cute, our older kids loved staying in the loft bedroom upstairs, unfortunately our part of the beach had the most lily pads and gunk where it was hard for our kids to enjoy swimming at all, we didn’t have access to the house right away because we didn’t have the access code to get in till 10 minutes after check in which made us really nervous at first, we also didn’t realize when booking that it’s a catch and release lake, our kids really enjoyed their time and we were happy because the kids were happy, just little things!
Really nice place, large deck wish there weren’t so many Lilly pads hard to fish off dock, cute and cozy, like that it’s a private lake

Very Nice Cozy Cottage
We had a great summer family vacation. Our kids are quite young so this was a nice size for them. The lake was calm which was nice for them to enjoy jumping off the dock and using the paddleboat and row boat. Beds were comfy. We did had a hard time connecting with the internet.. but we were there to enjoy eachother not use our phones or Tablets.

Great home base for trip up north
We were 2 mid 30's couples as well as a 7 & 4-year-old. We were looking for a cost effective place for our 4-day trip north. This suited out needs well. It's not fancy, but it did have everything we needed, and some important amenities like wifi and air conditioning. The dual bathrooms were als0 key for us. Some things in the cabin were new (the deck, the dishwasher) some were old ( the stove) but the important thing was everything worked well. Great communication from the hosts as well. Recommended.

Glad you enjoyed your stay! Thanks for taking the time to review and offer your feedback.
The property is set on a beautiful clear small lake. It is cozy with everything that you could need.
The owners are AMAZING! There was a mix up when we first got there but they took care of things immediately and genuine concern. The beds were so comfortable, the sheets and towels were of very high quality and an abundance of both. The kitchen was stocked with so many items.
It was such a blessing not to have to pay a cleaning fee and just to do a few things to leave it for the next guests.
The availability of the row boat & paddle boat were nice additions, as was the swimming beach just a few steps away. The wildlife preserve was a scenic walk less than a mile away. The neighborhood was great area to take walks also.
We appreciate the owners and their attention to detail!
Our family of 5 had a great time here. Very relaxing and quiet, not a busy lake which was nice if you like to swim and fish. Lots of bass and pike which was what we were going for. Catch and release wasn’t a problem for us, we enjoyed catching no matter what time we went out but the morning bite was always good. Clean cottage with plenty of bedding and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook with. We brought cooking spray and the basics for coffee. The gas grill was nice for steak one evening.Bring fire cooking tools for hot dogs and campfire pies/sandwiches if you plan on using the nice fire pit area for that. Plenty of firewood was provided which is a big plus. Nobody wants to buy little bundles through their stay. We brought a few folding chairs as they are comfy and can be brought in at night so they don’t get wet. The provided seating was nice as well. Very nice seating area on the back deck with an umbrella to give us a break from the sun. Overall this was a nice stay for us. There is a gas station with the basics of you get a snack or drink craving. Town is only 10 minutes away with everything you would need. Thank you for a nice getaway and the great hospitality while we were there. No complaints on our end. Would stay here again!
Listing states cable, they don't have cable. States in listing fishing, which is what we wanted. We planned on a dinner of bluegills. Well this lake is strictly catch and release. Should of stated that in the listing. We never would of went if we knew that. House is nice but I think the staircase is dangerous. Bedroom on main floor is as big as the queen size bed in it with no closets. Fireplace outside full of crap which wasn't appealing. Overall it sucked and the weather was cold and rainy the whole time we were there. We left early on Tuesday morning. Might of stayed as the weather was supposed to be nice rest of the week but we didn't want to fish and not keep them. Also stated in listing that they furnish everything all paper products. Well when ya get there they have a list of rules and one of them is to replace what you use. That to me isn't furnishing the paper products when ya have to replace what you use. We will never rent on any private lake again
The property was perfect for a quick getaway. Everything you’d need is at the cottage. Mark was great to work with and was quick to respond to any questions I had. I’d definitely love to return.
We have rented this house more then once. We have never been disappointed, the house has always been clean and the owners very accommodating. I would recommend it to everyone.
This property was just what we needed to get away. Fishing, golf, and enjoying the weather and property. Really nice deck to view the lake and stars. We took full advantage of the new beach area and fire pit. We were recommend Mark’s cottage 100% and look forward to returning in the future.

My wife and I own the cottage with my parents and this is much more a family vacation home than it is a rental property. We want to keep it nice not only for you our customer, but because we want to use it this way also.
Why they chose this property
We live right next door to the cottage and we really bought it as overflow for when our large family comes up to visit. The summers and winters on Stone Ledge Lake are second to none. I feel very fortunate to be able to raise our four kids in this beautiful setting and would love to share it with you.
What makes this property unique
Enjoy the setting of a lake setting with views of open rolling forests and open farmland. There are not too many places anymore to have a lake setting without being packed in.
Stoneledge Lake is a private lake and many of the locals are looking for ways to 'get on Stoneledge' because of the great fishing. It is normal to go out for a summer evening fishing and catch 10 - 15 bass. Great crappie, bass, pike and bluegill fishing right off of your deck.
There is beautiful island preserve that is a 3/4 mile walk down the road that has a great mix of different types of trees and birds and is a great place to view Stoneledge from a different vantage.
