The house is very nice, well appointed, spacious and very clean. Location was great for commuting to a wedding in Groton. Host communication was excellent.
The two of us stayed at Kimstead Farm for four (4) weeks in July and had a completely wonderful time. In addition to us, we had several visitors (family of 5 from Stowe VT, two from Newton MA, two from Maine, and one from Cambridge. Theresa and Ron are the best hosts, going out of their way to make everyone comfortable and putting up with our many requests to see their property and hang out with the many animals. Bessie the small cow was everyone's favorite. We hope to visit again.
The house was perfect and Theresa was absolutely wonderful! I have three children under the age of 5 and she showed the kids around their farm and allowed them to play with the animals, gave them coloring books and provided us with extra toys (in addition to the many toys and books already in the house!) I would recommend this place to everyone and anyone.
The house was absolutely gorgeous and spotless upon arrival, comfortably fit 4 adults and 4 kids from 1y-7y. House has everything you need for your stay, we were so appreciative Theresa put up a baby gate, pack n play, booster seats and children’s dishes for us. We loved the coffee station. House is in a beautiful setting and close to farms! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
The house is the epitome of comfy, cozy, clean, charming, and convenient. The hosts of this beautiful home, are the most responsive hosts I have ever come across and they went above and beyond to make us feel at home and as comfortable as possible. The surrounding area is stunning farmland that I already Miss!!!
We had a wonderful time during this short stay! Theresa was such a gracious host who also gave us a tour of her farm and a visit with their baby goats. We did not want to leave! Thank you Theresa ☺️
Comfort of your own home in this historic and beautiful home
Beds were comfortable, home is updated and extra clean. Loved the coffee station and the snacks (which my kids loved!). How was well stocked it everything we needed. Host was extremely quick to respond. Next time I hope to have more time to visit the animals! Thank you!
Hands down, the most beautiful VRBO I have ever rented. Everything has been very carefully thought out and implimented to ensure a warm welcome and a restful stay. Beautiful sunrises from beyond the farmland behind us. Decorated beyond
You aren’t likely to find a more perfect place in the area than this one. The property is beautiful and as clean as can be. The host is incredibly thoughtful and responsive. The location is in a peaceful farming area with a wonderful farmstand up the street. We highly recommend!
We stayed at this charming New England home for a nearby family reunion. It was very clean and recently updated with new appliances and very comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you need.
The host was kind enough to leave some snacks and a well stocked coffee station.
The host lives on the farm adjacent to this property and super responsive if needed. The property is very private and relaxing.
Theresa was a great host. The property was clean, and very spacious. My guest and I had no complaints only compliments. The transition was easy and we adjusted very well. I will definitely be back next year for our yearly skiing trip and would recommend this place to all my family and friends. Thank you for having us.
The house was beautiful and beat out all of our expectations. It's clear the host took attention to detail and had everything a guest could need, bandaids, makeup remover, and great quality shampoo and conditioner. She had even left us some snacks, and always went above and beyond and checked in on us. We visited her farm and had so much fun, we really recommend it. Theresa's kindness shone through in all of our interactions and we could not have asked for a better host! It was a perfect place to stay to celebrate our daughter's graduation and we wished we could have stayed for longer. Cannot recommend enough. If we were to return anywhere near Boston we would choose to stay there again without a second though.
We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in this beautiful home. It is newly renovated, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. Theresa has thought of everything a guest would need. For instance, little details include washcloths dedicated for makeup and disposable wipes for the same. She has even labelled the MANY electrical switches, cabinets, and drawers throughout the house, which was very helpful. My young-adult children appreciated the basket of snacks when they arrived after a very late night flight, and I liked the coffee set-up. Though I expected us to gather in the cozy living room or lovely sunroom, in our limited time together, the family preferred to sit at the very big dining room table and talk and play board games, of which Theresa has a nice selection. We also had plenty of beds for eight people, and the linens and towels were top-notch. And while the focus of this weekend was our son and daughter-in-law's baby shower nearby , a highlight was when afterwards, we were able to walk down the lane to Kimstead Farm, and Theresa led us to see the goats and even hold their babies! Despite being in this beautiful country setting, we also could access all the stores, restaurants, etc. of Nashua, NH in less than 20 minutes. I cannot recommend this home and host more highly, and I hope to return in the future.

Why they chose this property
Pepperell, Massachusetts is a charming and picturesque location with its iconic New England landscapes and colonial architecture. The rich history of our property, Kimstead Farm, with the farmhouse and main barn dating back to the 1740s, adds a unique and historical touch to our property. With the expansive fields in front and behind our property, wildlife is regularly seen grazing peacefully.
What makes this property unique
We have been able to call Kimstead Farm home for over a decade and have recently expanded your offerings with the acquisition of the adjacent property. Adding farm tours/activities, sugaring experiences and event venues opens up various possibilities for hosting gatherings and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
The absence of urban light pollution makes stargazing from our backyard a truly magical experience. We even have a quality level telescope to add to your viewing pleasure on a cloudless night.
The addition of a short-term rental home adds another layer to our venture, providing visitors with a chance to experience the tranquility and charm of our property. It a fantastic way to help our guest create wonderful memories and share the beauty of our surroundings with others.
