Grin & Bear It Lodge – A Luxury, Dog-Friendly Mountain Escape w fenced yard

Trey, Leahann, and sons – Jackson, Houston, and Weston – would like to warmly welcome you to the Grin & Bear It Lodge! The idea for a mountain home first came to us following a quick family getaway during the COVID-19 pandemic. We envisioned a quiet, tranquil escape that would lend itself to relaxation, a touch of adventure, and most of all, quality family time. In the ensuing years, we set out to plan, design, build and furnish our take on the modern mountain retreat. During this time, we visited several area properties, taking note of the things we wanted to avoid in our vacation property, as well as a variety of features and touches we found appealing. The result is Grin & Bear It Lodge, which was constructed throughout 2022 and early 2023. It’s been a
labor of love, and we very much look forward to sharing it with you and your guests.
Our family is active, and on the go! Trey is an executive with a multi-national retailer and Leahann is a structural engineer. We work long days and long hours, spending much of our free time supporting our boys and their many exploits, including baseball, youth golf, and a variety of other adventures! Escaping to “the cabin” for days, or even weeks at a time, is something we’ve dreamed of for many years. To that end, we’ve endeavored to make this second home much like a first – homey, comfortable, and cozy, but with a full complement of modern conveniences. Please note, we regularly utilize this home for personal use; we’ve elected to share it with others during weeks and periods throughout the year when our schedule permits. We are not absentee, and the property is not, exclusively, an investment vehicle. We very much appreciate your taking care of the property, treating it as if it were your own.
