Welcome to the West Bay Cabin on beautiful Lake Francis! This lake house sits on one acre on the quiet and scenic West Bay. Our goal for our guests to enjoy the outdoors on one of the cleanest and most pleasant lakes in Southern MN. The location of the lake home gives guests the opportunity to enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, biking, and memory making!!
About one hour south of Minneapolis/St. Paul and 15 minutes from Mankato, this lake house has the charm of original woodwork and amenities for families, couples, wedding weekends, or retreats.
This house features three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There is parking for up to three vehicles and there's tons of room for kids to run around and play. NEW FOR 2025 - NO ADDITIONAL CLEANING FEE and Included in your stay is use of lily pad, pedal boat, bean floats, loungers, kayaks, and other floats. We will not rent out our pontoon, but feel free to bring your own boat! The property has two docks for guests to use. There's two landings on the lake to launch a boat.
At this property, you have the opportunity for great swimming, fishing, and bike/snowmobile riding. The Sakatah state trail and the City of Elysian is only a stone's throw away from the cabin. It's also home to some of the best summer sunsets on the West Bay!
