This adorable cabin was perfect for our stay! Ian and Tess were wonderful hosts with thoughtful details thoughout the cabin. Great view from the the deck to relax and great local eating places close to the cabin. 100% recommend!

What a perfect stay for the two of us! The cabin is wonderfully quaint, filled with character, exceptionally clean, a great deck, and matches the photos perfectly. Fished at Duck Lake and Madison Lake and right from the excellent dock at the cabin! Highly recommend watching the gorgeous sunsets from the dock. The local area is fantastic. The Landing on Madison has excellent food and super friendly service! We loved biking the canopied Sakatah Singing Hills trail—stopping at Scoops for tasty ice cream is a must! Beautiful Chankaska Winery is also just minutes away and a lovely experience. Our host was incredibly thoughtful, even turned all the lights on for us since we were scheduled to arrive late evening. Absolutely exceptional hospitality! Thanks Ian!

We had a wonderful time! Everything was as described- the cabin was very clean and comfortable (we definitely appreciated the AC in each room!). The hosts were fantastic communicators and very accommodating. Loved being on the lake for the July 4 festivities/fireworks. We will be back!

Hi everyone! 4 years ago I moved to Beautiful Minnesota where my fiancée, Tess, and I live and work. In the summer, we LOVE the lake life. There is absolutely nothing better than watching a captivating sunset, next to a warm fire, after a long afternoon on the water. We decided to begin hosting because we want to be able to share these once in a lifetime moments with you!

Why they chose this property

The cabin is located on a quiet road, just north of Madison Lake, MN. The cabin is located at the top of a small hill, overlooking Duck Lake! The elevated position of the cabin, creates the most beautiful scenic views of the lake. Truly, some breathtaking moments!

What makes this property unique

The unique northside position of the cabin on the lake allows for the most amazes sunsets. We've also found Duck Lake to the perfect blend of a "popular" but not "too busy". Duck Lake is a perfect lake to jump in a Kayak and spend the afternoon soaking up the sun!
