Situated on the 200+ year property of the Shipbuilder’s Cottage & Summer Kitchen, this one-bedroom unit has a covered porch overlooking a spacious treed lawn, gazebo, hammocks and it's own outdoor BBQ and fire bowl. With the Bay of Fundy within view, the highest tides in the world can be heard caressing the shoreline and, when foggy, the Quaco Head lighthouse fog horn echoes it’s warning to fishing boats in the bay. Cozy and comfortable, peaceful and quiet, it's a perfect place to relax after a day exploring the beauty of the area.
Ideally situated, the cottage is located 5 km from the Village of St. Martins, the harbour, restaurants, cafe, art and gift shops, tourist information centre, museum and the Sea Caves. The Fundy Trail is 13 km from the cottage. Within walking distance of the cottage is The Quaco Head Lighthouse (1.3kms), and Brown's beach (1.9kms) - which is as quiet as it is scenic and a rock lover's dream. There is also a coastal trail that connects the two.
In consideration of the peace and serenity offered by its location, guests are asked to be considerate of the property owner and those in the other rental units by observing a quiet time from 10:00 pm-9:00 am.
The owner Nick and his fatherJoe, the property manager, reside on site and are happy to help if you have any questions regarding the property or about planning your adventures in the area. Although involved in continuing property maintenance, your privacy and an enjoyable vacation stay is our priority.

Wonderful stay. The cabin was spotless and very well equipped. Great location for touring around the area. We will be back to stay in the Shipkeepers cottage with our adult kids. The Waterloo cabin was the perfect size for this trip as it was just 2 adults and our well travelled dog.

The little cottage was cute, clean, and spacious for two. The bed and couch were very comfy and the kitchen had everything we could have wanted. A great place for quiet, polite people to relax and enjoy the area.
The place was nice, clean and well-appointed. It had a nice kitchen, a great little barbecue and fire pit outside and the service was impeccable. We both loved it and plan to return.

What an amazing gem, both the cottage and location. I had never been to the beautiful area before but will be back. The cottage was so amazing that I want to build one just like it on my property in Alberta

Very comfortable cozy cottages! Loved our stay! Wish we could have stayed longer! New, well designed cottages that made it a comfortable and enjoyable stay! Sitting under the stars at night by the firepit made it even better. Great area close to the Sea Caves and a must do Fundy Parkway! Definitely recommend! Host was great too!

Thank you very much Jeffery. Very happy you found the cottage, its location and your stay enjoyable. Hope to see you again sometime. Joe
We stayed in The Waterloo for a week and it was delightful in every way. Joe, our host answered every text and question promptly and anticipated our needs every step of the way - from the little wagon hanging on the fence to assist us in loading and unloading our luggage, to offering us laundry facilities because of the length of our stay. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything you might need. It was comfortable and tastefully decorated, private and quiet. A little yard to sit around a fire (fire ban excluded) completed the magic. We highly recommend this site and the entire area around St. Martins.

These cattages werenwell thought and planned out. We found everything we needed for a relaxing vacation plus a few extras. Aĺl we needed to bring was food and clothing. Everything else was there. Very pleased. Thank you so much exactly what we needed.
Very peaceful. Cottage had everything we needed, and more! It had its own fire pit and barbecue. Covered deck. Shared screen gazebo. The 3 Cottages are situated for privacy from each other. Parking is close to Cottages and has a wooden walkway to roll your suitcases. Can easily do day trips to other areas of southern New Brunswick. St Martins is less than 5 minutes from cottage and has a well stocked grocery store, gas stations & restaurants.

Thank you very much. So glad you enjoyed your stay here.
The property was perfect for us. We were looking to relax and take in a few local attractions. Did chat with Joe a bit and he was happy to accommodate if and when required. Saint Martins is wonderful area, thank you Joe and Nick for the home away from home, all the best.

This was our first VRBO, and the bar has now been set incredibly high! Nick is a very kind, considerate, and friendly host. He was helpful with information/ suggestions about the area and was just so chill and pleasant to hang out and chat with. Our little chihuahua was welcomed too! The cottage is beautifully done — very clean, well organized, and lots of thought and care put into the details to make guest’s stay comfortable. The property is clean and serene — tranquil and truly feels like a little piece of paradise. We loved the privacy of the cottage, but also the availability and accessibility of Nick and his dad, should we need something. The location is perfect too — about 5 minutes into town or 10 minutes to a stunning, mostly secluded beach in the opposite direction. 10/10 we would stay at this property again in the future and would recommend it to friends and family. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay, Nick!
