Why they chose this property
Mike and Jaci fell in love with the Moose River area, then decided to put down roots. Mike hand built the chalet from the ground up and wanted to extend true Alaskan hospitality by turning it into a Vacation Rental, since we moved into the new house next door. The beauty of the Moose River with all the great birding and wildlife is spectacular year round.
What makes this property unique
Front row view of the river approximately 50 feet from living room windows, yet secluded and private. Gazebo with round table. Additional covered sun deck out back with a chest freezer and lounging area. Just outside from the kitchen is a large stainless steel fish cleaning table and handmade cutting board. Outside BBQ stocked with fresh cut wood and charcoal.
