About this property
New Cabin and 150' of Private Kenai Riverfront fishing.
Just finished this New Cabin in early July(2021). Location, Location, Location! Beautiful River front lot located on the "swift" water section of the Kenai River(RM25), known for the Best Sockeye fishing in the World! Many other species of fish including the King and Silver Salmon as well as Trophy Trout and Dolly Varden. Just walk out the front door less than a 100' and step onto aluminum fishing docks, or natural grassy banks, to bring in the Big ones. UPDATE: 2022 we have a 10'x12' fish processing shed available for our guests to use. It has 3 freezers, countertop with sink and 2 sealers for your fish.

About the host
Hosted by Mark Sharer

Hi, I'm Mark Sharer the owner of SKRP. I have been an avid outdoorsman my whole life, beginning with my father at a early age. I was so lucky to have a father that took me and my 2 brothers, hunting, fishing, pack trips and other outdoor adventures. Coming to Alaska fell right into my love for the outdoors, it grew on me like an addiction. Alaska is truly the LAST frontier. I have since brought my daughter up for the last 3 or 4 years, and she as well has fell in love with the River. I hope all that stays at my place can Pass On that feeling you get to your next generation ,while in the outdoors!
Why they chose this property
I have rented a few places near and on the Kenai River, prior to purchasing this piece of property, and the beauty of this property, is that it has a level entry to the river, there is not 30 stairs you have to walk up and down each time you want to fish the river, like many other lodges on the river. This area of the river is also known for its popularity of a great place to catch fish.
What makes this property unique
I also have a 10'x12' processing room that has 3 freezers a nice countertop with sink and 2 sealers, one a chamber sealer, the other a vacuum sealer. This saves a bunch, not having to take and pay to have your fish processed. I do have vacuum bags onsite as well, but ask that you keep track of the amount you use on a honor system. Bags are about .25ea.
