This unique place has a style all its own. And we have tried to be eco conscious and use biodegradable/earth friendly products. EV charging available for $10 fee. Let us know if you will need it.
Its a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom  studio that is handicap accessible cabin. It has a spacious back yard. Circle driveway with enough parking to bring your drift boat.
You will have access to the whole cabin and yard. It is not shared. However, there is a cabin on the same property. The yards are separated by a fence as you will see in some of the pictures. The circle driveway is shared so please be considerate and don't block it. You can even rent the big cabin "Rustic Trails" for more of a family/group trip. You will also have access to washer and dryer upon request.
We like to give our guests the space they need to enjoy their trip, but we are available if need thru the app.
Grandpas Rustic Cabin is on a rural road. But still conveniently close to town. (1.5 miles)
"Rails to Trails" accessibility 1/3 mile away. The Ashton-Tetonia Trail is a 29.6 mile trail that follows the abandoned railroad grade of the Teton Valley Branch of the Union Pacific Railroad from Ashton to Tetonia. There you can do some biking, bird watching, hiking, horseback riding. And in the winter you can do some cross country skiing or snowshoeing. For more information on this trail you can visit the parks and recreation of idaho website.
57 miles (1 hour drive) to the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park.
77 miles (1 hour 40 minute drive) to Grand Teton National Park
49 miles (1 hour drive) from Grand Targhee Ski Resort
72 miles (1.5 hour drive ) from Jackson WY

This property is rural but also convenient to town for the run to the store for the forgotten ingredients for your dinner, or a glass of wine, or even just go to dinner. Its near some beautiful areas to explore wildlife, waterfalls, mountains and starlit nights.

What makes this property unique

This building used to be part of a saw mill. Many of the items used in the renovation were part of its history. It has been reinvented and
re-envisioned into the cozy, unique get away from the hustle and bustle of life.
