We like the hot springs (1.5 miles, we walked it one of the times) but this time spent a lot of time in the vrbo. 2 min walk to both local restaurants, quiet, comfy, nice views, many nice touches
We really enjoyed our stay at Brenden’s VRBO! We were looking for a quiet getaway to explore nearby trails, and this place was perfect. The location was peaceful, the space was clean and open, and very comfortable. We also appreciated that our dogs were welcome. Brenden was extremely communicative and helpful throughout our stay. We’d definitely stay here again!
My husband and I had a nice quiet stay and look forward to the next time we can rent the house again. The bed was comfortable, and the apartment held the heat very well. The only issue was that we had to rewash some of the plates and silverware.
I usually stay at hotels 30-50, this was my first time staying at a VRBO and it couldn't have been better. Great location to the Sierra Mountains. Clean, quiet, no issues and whatsoever. Couple nice place to eat within easy walking distance and a small grocery store. Owner was responsive and available if needed. Perfect!!!

Hi Steve,
It sounds like you enjoyed our vacation rental. However, you gave us a 1 star rating.(Out of 5).
Was that a typo or is there something we could improve upon? If it's a typo, I am not sure how you would go about changing it. You would have to contact VRBO.
Thanks
Brendan
Right near the highway intersection in the tiny town of Sierraville. Good comfortable bed in the bedroom; sofa bed is probably best for kids. No dishwasher, which we didn't mind but some people might miss it.
We stayed here to attend a birthday party weekend trip our friend was hosting for her birthday. My boyfriend and I stayed here and brought the dogs. Perfect location in relation to the springs and other hikes and water spots we managed to visit . Airbnb was clean . Simple . But all we needed the view was nice out of the back and from the front we were walking distance from the grocery store / gas station.
We truly enjoyed our stay. Found a relaxing getaway in the mountains. Convenient for wedding at Dancing Pines. Also took advantage of 3 of the local restaurants, as suggested, and discovered excellent qualities there. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. (well, except for cell reception & maybe a non-stick pan for eggs) Thanks for the fun digs. We'll visit again before too long.
This was a perfectly lovely home away from home for 4 days at Sierra Hot Springs. Couldn't have been better. It’s super cozy, spacious, with all the amenities you need and tasteful interior touches..
This was represented on the Vrbo website as being a Graeagle area accommodation. Nothing is further from the truth. This is somewhere around 20 miles or so from the Graeagle area, and a 45 minute drive on the 2 lane country roads. The owner is usually unavailable by phone a full message reminder. Don't book this site.

The guest booked with out looking at the location or the cancellation policy until the first day of their stay. The guest never actually arrived or stayed at the Valley House. We provide good service, good communication, and a comfortable and affordable vacation rental. We are available by phone, email and the website to answer any questions as our other reviews show. Unfortunately, this guest never asked any questions or inquired to clarify any details of their stay.
We are in the Graeagle area, but not in the town of Graeagle. The map of our location and the reference and distance to the town of Graeagle is clearly displayed on the website front page.
Property was great, close to the highway and what little is in Sierraville, but very quiet and relaxing. Communication with the property manager was great and he proactively warned us about a local event happening to make sure we knew what was going on.

Cute, eco-built space
The space is cute and has a nice seating area on the back patio. Great bathroom, easily accessible for those who need a walk-in shower option. Bed was super comfortable, felt like a tempurpedic with a pillow top. Couch pull out was fine for my teenage niece.
