Charming Farmhouse across from Devils Backbone Brewery.

The Beech Grove Farmhouse is an early century farmhouse situated in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains, has a sprawling two acre private yard, fire pit, hammock and swing, with beautiful mountain views and is across from Devils Backbone Brewery and Distillery. Located just five miles from the Wintergreen Resort, one mile from Bold Rock Cidery, Blue Toad Cidery and is along Nelson 151 Trails. The Appalachian Trail and other scenic trails are all around the area.
Located inside the farmhouse is a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, mud room, laundry room and a cozy living room. WiFi service is provided for our guests. The primary bedroom is located on the first floor with the other two bedrooms on the second floor. Each has ample closet space and a tv with a dvd player. There is also parking available for multiple cars. We hope you be able to relax and enjoy the sights of Nelson County.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Set A/C to 75 or heat to 55 degrees. Return chairs from fire pit to the porch (if used)
Due to local wildlife (including bears) and no trash collection services in Nelson County, all trash must be taken to a local disposal site; 136 Rockfish School Ln Afton, VA 22920 (Closed Mondays)
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Trash must be collected and taken to a trash site upon your departure. Nelson County does not offer garbage collection and there is wildlife.
Wildlife that frequents the property: deer, groundhogs, coyote and our neighbors chickens. Please do not harass, feed or bring the chickens indoors.

Perfect location!

We loved this house and its historic charm. Everything you could possibly need was provided, including firewood and really yummy coffee from a local coffee crafter. The location can’t be beat, literally right across the road from Devils Backbone and if you’re doing the 151 brewery and winery thing, this is your spot!

Perfect location

We rented the home for its proximity to Wintergreen for a quick skiing trip,and it was perfect. A cozy older home with a cabin like feel. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Owners were great, get back to you quickly if you have questions. Definitely rent again if we come back to the area.

The location to devil’s backbone and 151 was amazing! The house was very quaint. We enjoyed the cozy living room and big kitchen. We were there on an extremely cold weekend and we appreciated the extra space heaters. This house was great for our adults get away weekend.
