Thank you so much for taking time to share your experience, Mary! We are so thankful you chose to check out our family cabin. We hope you enjoyed your stay! You are welcome back anytime!
Our stay at the cabin was wonderful! The place was clean, peaceful, and exactly as listed. It was the perfect spot to relax after a day on the water. The boat dock was just a short drive away, and there was plenty of room at the cabin to park our boat, which was a huge plus. The host was friendly, responsive, and easy to work with. We’d gladly come back for another stay!

Nothing but wonderful things to say about, Amber! Very communicative during the booking process and her stay. She was respectful of our home, followed all rules, and treated the cabin like her own, which is all we could have ever asked for. Amber was super friendly and we will welcome her back anytime! Our door is always open to her and her guests.
Very clean and quiet. All the amenities you could ask for. Family oriented. Home away from home.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Mark Twain Lake Cabin to fish on the lake. The cabin was clean and stocked with supplies. The checkin and checkout process was great. There was enough from to park a boat and if the watter level was higher we could have put the boat in at the South Fork Ramp, instead we put the boat in at Route U Ramp. We got minnows from Campground store.

Nichole was such a wonderful guest. She was wonderful to communicate with and left the property clean and tidy and followed all check in and check out procedures. We will welcome Nichole back anytime. Thank you again Nichole for choosing to stay at our cabin! We look forward to seeing you soon !
This was a perfect cabin for our family fishing trip. It had all the amenities that made it feel like home. The single lane boat slip 1 minute down the road made getting in the water fast and easy. The property had plenty of room for parking and no shortage of native missouri wildflowers. Super nice owner that was very responsive to questions and gave great info for people not familiar with Mark Twain. I will most definitely be booking another stay in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at this little cabin! We grilled, cooked meals in the fully stocked kitchen, and made smores over the fire pit each night.
The cabin accommodated 5 adults perfectly with one sleeping on the couch. I especially loved the furniture and decorating! Super clean and super cute!
The host was amazing! He responded immediately to address a question and went above and beyond to make recommendations for food and fun in the surrounding towns.
We brought a jet ski and paddle boards with us so we loved that a boat ramp was minutes away!
We can’t wait to stay again!

This place is awesome! Very clean, new, and cozy. Matt the host was very attentive and easy to work with. The beds was super comfortable and the amenities were fantastic. It’s on a nice plot of land where you are secluded. My only real complaint and it’s very minor is we went to fish and the parking lot was not big enough to turn around in so we had to back all the way down the driveway. Other than that we will be back! Thanks Matt!

About the host
Hosted by Matt Kammeier
Our family recently purchased this cabin in December 2023 from an owner who previously has this as a successful vacation rental. Our family has been traveling to Mark Twain for years. 2023 We had our first child and wanted to give him a place where he could make memories like we did. We are from the St. Louis Area and are looking forward to continue to add fun activities to our home so your family can enjoy the same fun that we do!
Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood due to the close proximity to the lake/boat ramp. The other thing that attractive us to this property was that it was on over 3 acres of land. We know the lake has numerous places to stay, but we wanted a place that would allow the family, kids, and dogs to roam even while off the lake.
What makes this property unique
This property is unique due to the land it provides. You aren't stuck in a hotel/motel. This property so much area to play and do outdoor activities.
