Overall I was pleasantly surprised with this property. I would say the photos do nowhere near the amount of justice for how great this property was. Our family of 8 had more than enough space to hang out and spend time together. The games downstairs were a hit with the kids, and the hot tub was relaxing. Would recommend to friends and family.

Our overall impression of the property was disappointing. While the amenities such as the boat and hot tub were appealing and were the main highlights of the stay, the condition of the home did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, the house appeared unclean, with hair in the sinks and showers, dirty countertops and refrigerator surfaces, and a strong odor in several rooms. We felt uncomfortable walking barefoot throughout the home and ended up purchasing cleaning supplies and replacement sheets before settling in.The hot tub was a nice amenity in theory, but it was also noticeably dirty and did not appear to have been properly maintained. The location and amenities have potential, but the cleanliness, accuracy of the listing, and overall upkeep significantly impacted our experience.

This review is total BS!!! 1. we left our house vey clean, I made sure there was no hair anywhere. 2. all the bedding was washed the night before, hung out to dry and made that morning, which you came a day early and did not pay for!! There was extra sheets, blankets and pillows through out the house. Maybe i left a crumb removing the pizza out of the fridge, sorry about that!! 3. no payment on the boat which was used, so all of this is a crock to get out of paying for that which you ruined for everyone else. now what they did to out property.... blinds in the jacuzzi tub room, ruined! Red spray paint on our lawn, dog food scattered through out the house, like just poured on the kitchen rug! curtains tore down, plastic spoons in the hot tub filter, over flowing garbage in the kitchen, which you had about 18 people over, the neighbors were not happy. So, what should have taken 6-8 hours cleaning was our whole fathers day fixing the house you destroyed, would never rent to you again!!

Weekend Getaway

Great location on Cedar Lake. Our group had a great time even though the weather didn’t cooperate for us. Host was easy to contact with questions, everything was ready for us when we arrived. House was nice and comfortable for our group to enjoy. The pontoon & golf cart were a huge plus!!! Thank you

Arrival turned excitement into disappointment. I wish I had taken reviews into greater consideration. A/C units insufficient and one blowing exhaust into house, never cooled to less than 81 degrees. Filthy everywhere, full trash left under sink from last guest, old half bottles of booze and half drank pop and Jell-O shots left in fridge. Expired drinks from last year in fridge. No toilet paper in two bathrooms, yard swing was collapsed and laying on ground, steps to lake broken and not usable, deck neglected for years, moldy patio furniture, chairs have holes from bonfire, yard wasn’t mowed, knee high weeds and waist high weeds, dog poop in several spots in the yard, dirty towel under bushes and two broken and moldy fountains left by deck, also a car rotor sitting at base of deck railing, junk dock sitting in yard and junk fireplace unit in yard, full ash tray left on patio, dirty grill, nasty moldy patio table, hair in showers and in bath tub, dirty entry, worn out welcome mats, dead hanging basket, weeds in flower beds, no flowers. This is disgusting. Fireplace door broken glass, holes in bedsheets, ceiling fan and light fixture didn’t work. Burnt out lightbulbs in two bathrooms and in bedroom ceiling fan. The “fifth” bedroom is really an attic with a bi-fold door entry. Host has let this place deteriorate and definitely did NOT clean since last guest. We left after first night, and they refused to refund our money. It’s GROSS! NEVER be back. Misrepresented!!

This started the day before check in, family couldn't make it, family issues so you text me and told me to text you back ASAP, TODAY, as I did, did not hear from you until 2nd day you were suppose to be there, yes. there was poop as I had my dogs there. you were a no show. Our house is not a million dollar house, get that, you don't have to go run it down cause your upset about family issues. The basket under sink is cleaning supplies, not garbage left from previous renters, the extra room upstairs is a bonus room not an attic, the swing is off to the side at the end of property, broken from previous renters, which was an accident! I'm not going to answer all of your complaints, sorry about your family.

Not prepared for guest

This property is in a good location but was not ready for guest. It had all of the owners personal things in every corner including their refrigerator. The property was Not cleaned and the number of bedrooms ready for use was a false. 5th bedroom did not even have a bed and the basement game room had water all on the floor. The bathrooms where disgusting with hair in the sink and bath tubs ,No guest stay instructions on how to prepare the garbage for disposal after stay. The extra bed sheets that where left on the side stunk to high heavon and could not be used!!! We left the property cleaner than what we got it!!! Would not book a stay here again!!!

Disappointing, dirty, and run down. When we arrived, the house wasn’t ready, there were two dogs inside; we called the owner and said she thought we weren’t coming until the next day. She came and cleaned for maybe 30 minutes, but the place was still very dirty. The sinks, rugs, walls, and fridge hadn’t been cleaned not to mention many other things we washed our own bedding before we would use it.The house itself was in rough shape. Door knobs were falling off, holes in the deck, disguised by with rugs, portable AC units with plastic bags shoved in the window. One bedroom was really just a nook off another bedroom with a blowup mattress. It should have been listed as a four bedroom not five. The only positives were the outdoor space, the hot tub was really nice and so was the lake. We enjoyed the boat even though the stereo was broken. One of the docks was broken, and the owners did not let us know until the second day, which is a huge safety issue. Once we got there the owners were friendly and responsive, but before we got there, communication through the app would take days. There were no manuals, no hand soap, no high hand towels. If we had other options, we wouldn’t have stayed. I highly recommend choosing a different Rental.

You are taking pics of under the porch outside? Don't know how that has relevance to the main house unless you are just looking to bash someone on this sight. We put the portable air conditioners in to make people more comfortable, which I am sure you used. And the bedding is all clean, I do that myself just to make sure, If you were not happy with it by all means, wash them again. The portable vacuum in the window was charging I cant see how that was in your way, and the tear in the chair is from a puppy, it is a pet friendly house which apparently you are not pet friendly. Sorry you had a horrible stay
