About this property
New! Brickstone Cottage-Adorable Bungalow 2 blks downtown/4 min. drive to beach!
Newly redone 1939 historic home two blocks from downtown South Haven and four minute drive to both South and North Beach. We fell in love with it and you will too!
First summer on the market, this 1800 sq. ft. charmer is in a quiet residential neighborhood. Two block walk from downtown means no fighting for a parking space, and a 20 minute walk ( .9 miles) to South or North Beach to get your steps in... or pack up your gear and drive there in five minutes!
**We are renting for a 3 night minimum, and although this is a new listing, we are premiere hosts and have a five star rating on our other property, so rest assured!
Private backyard with dining and fire table, extra side lot for corn hole, volleyball, and running off energy. Safe dead end street with quaint footbridge at the end-- crossing over lands you in another quiet neighborhood with a park for kids with slides, swings, and a baseball field. Three minute drive to Meijer in the other direction, and you are in the middle of all things!
This house is filled with windows and light! The galley kitchen two steps up from the back door has a bright breakfast nook attached, overlooking the backyard. The kitchen leads into a full dining room and an open living room. Also on the first floor is a bonus office space/bedroom with a desk, twin daybed with twin trundle underneath, as well as a smart tv. Fully renovated three-quarter bath, as well as huge Master bedroom with king size bed, work area, and sitting area completes the first floor.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a full bath. Take a trip to midcentury with the original classically tiled upstairs bath with shower and tub. First queen bedroom also has a twin pull out twin loveseat, and other Queen Bedroom has a pullout full trundle underneath queen.

Frequently asked questions
About the host
Hosted by Jackie Sullivan
We are both Hillsdale College alums, and have always loved vacationing in South Haven. It was our dream to eventually own a home here, and our dream came true! Unbeknownst to us, it was previously owned by a former Hillsdale College basketball coach and his wife, so it was providential!
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with this house when we saw a photo online. The next morning we drove over to look at it, and the rest is history. I think the footbridge did us in!
What makes this property unique
It's 1930s architecture, beautiful details, warm wood, thoughtful landscaping, a dead end street, and an extra lot!
