Amazing place

This was a great place to stay! The house was so clean and they really thought about detail. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to make meals, the shower was nice and hot, the beds were comfortable, and the neighborhood was fairly quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

I was VERY upset with my stay at this VRBO. I was in the basement unit of a home, it was clean, and it had a complete kitchen was great. I have no complaints on that end. On the second night that I was there I was awoken around 11:30pm by a LOT of noise from the upstairs that concerned me. I assumed that it was a noisy upstairs neighbor but I later found out it was the assistant of the host. This lasted to about 12:30am almost 1am so I had very limited sleep before I had to go to a full day of class the next day. I received a message from the host at 12:10am saying that they changed the door lock codes. In my opinion this was strange, suspicious, and unsettling. I no longer felt safe staying there because why on earth was the host assistant making that much noise and change the lock codes in the middle of the night while they still had a guest there? I told the host that I was very upset by this and told them I would not be staying there the remainder of my stay because I felt unsafe as I was staying there alone. Because I did not record what happened the host refused to refund me for the remaining nights, and VRBO was no help issue. So advice to anyone else staying there going forward if you think something is suspicious going on make sure you record otherwise no one will believe you or care and you will have to pay for a second hotel anyway.
