Great place in a great Area

The location is great, 5-10min walking from lots of restaurants and bars. Great, up-and-coming neighborhood. Issues with Door Code are common, from reviews because the info sent by the Host is in a confusing order. Make sure to read the HOUSE Entrance Code (that's at the end of the info), and the Apartment personalized door Code( at the beginning). The place is remodeled, and is, one deep clean and a Handyman with a screwdriver, away from 5 stars. All necessities are there, and everything you need for a comfortable stay

Unsatisfied

After I booked, I received the address the property so I googled the location and neighborhood. My family immediately didnt feel comfortable about this neighborhood. I reached out to the host and told him this and was told it was too late to cancel without a refund. We proceeded to check in, got to the neighborhood and didn't feel comfortable and safe. The building next to us was condemned. We attempted the access code many times but did not work. We called and texted the host many times and dudnt hear back. We called vrbo and thy couldn't get a hold of him either. He texted back 4 hours later with a new code. By that time we had already checked in at a hotel. We had 3 kids with us. I asked the host for any part of a refund because we never stayed at the host and wasn't given anything. He also states in the details of the house that there is a hot tub, I dont see any pictures of a hot tub and didn't see one outside. I overall feel decieved.
