Enjoy the beautiful Atlantic and don't break the bank! This condo is the perfect getaway for a couple or a small family who want all the atmosphere of the beach for an affordable price! Located in North Topsail Beach, the Topsail Reef Condos complex offers private access to the beach from each building, and tennis courts for those who want to indulge in some recreational competition. Unit 202 has been well-maintained and is complete will all the amenities you need for a comfortable beach retreat.

The condo has a simple and efficient layout. When you first enter the condo you will see the bedroom, which offers a queen bed, directly to the right of the entry. The full bath is located in the hallway for easy access and offers a shower/tub combo. As you walk down the hall you will enter the living area as you pass the alcove that offers a twin bed. The living room offers a Queen Sleeper sofa, Cable TV, and a spacious sitting area where your family can enjoy a quiet evening afternoon after spending the day on the beach. The quaint Kitchen area is just off the living room and offers a small breakfast table with seating for two. The main attraction is just outside the sliding glass doors in the living room. Step out on your private oceanfront balcony to enjoy the spanning ocean views that seem to go on for miles. This condo also comes equipped with community Wi-Fi access so you can stay connected while you are miles and miles away!

Exceeded our expectations!

I read the warnings about the sandbags and I could definitely see why they are needed. The tide comes up high. The property is well maintained. There’s plenty of beach to walk on. It was the quietest area of the island. It was just the perfect relaxing vacation. It exceeded my expectations. The condo was very comfortable.

Clean house but it rained everyday and the beach leaves a lot to be desired. Not clean, burlap bags in the beach to trip and fall on. We will not be coming back.

Sorry you did not enjoy your time. We do disclose that the Reef condos have sand bags on all our advertisements. I believe that is the burlap bags you were referring to. They were put there by the town to keep the Reef complex from falling into the ocean. We did not like the weather either, we had rain for 13 days straight. Hope you find a place to enjoy next time. I was immediately surprised by how shabby the place looked. It was very clean and neat. The furniture, except for the plastic balcony chairs, was comfortable, including the bed. My disappointments were that the air conditioning was only effective in the living room. The bedroom temperature could be made tolerable with the unit above the door, but it was so loud and rattled so much that it affected my sleep. The rug was cheap and apparently very old. The kitchen table is ridiculously small and there is less than a foot of counterspace. The sink is tiny with no stopper. How are you supposed to wash dishes? The balcony was ok but would be uncomfortable fir more than one person. The plastic chairs are a joke. The ocean view is nice at low tide when the water is not completely covering the beach itself and actually up over the stairs. I understand the need for sandbags, but they detract from the view.

Inconvenient

The condo was to be first floor ocean front. When we got there it was a 2nd floor with three flights of stairs. My husband is totally blind and I have a heart problem so we asked for ocean front first floor which I was assured was on a few steps which we could have managed but three flights of stairs, it is a wonder we both did not die from the experience. I called the manager and was given a first floor condo in Surf City, a great walk away of which neither my husband or I could travel so our daughter that went with us drive us to the stairs so we could get to the beach. The reason I chose the condo I did was because it showed the ocean coming right up to the deck of the house and would have been a nice place for my husband to sit during high tide so he could hear the ocean and be close to it. If I had reserved the condo in Sur City it would have been ok but since we were put through the hassle of the first condo on the 3nd floor it was a total nightmare I will think twice before ever renting from Lewis Realty again, even though they gave us the second condo it was not much better since we had to walk so far to get to the beach. The whole plan was because my husband wanted to be close to ghe beach one last time before he passed. He is 76 years old and I am 77. Seems such a total was of money for hardly any enjoyment at all. We felt totally cheated.

I stayed here for a wedding that was close by. The hard stabilization of the beach meant there was no beach to go to without leaving the property and going to a public access. The place was adequate. But there were some fruit fly like bugs. The Tiki bar was within a short walking distance.

Right on the beach

We loved our stay, we visit Topsail yearly and stayed in the same condos last year but building 5. My son loves that the ocean literally comes right up to the building. We stayed a week and was on the beach everyday. The only issue we had was the pullout sofa bed in the living room, it is very uncomfortable, sleeping on that a week caused some back pain. The condo was exactly as pictured though. It would be nice if they had the high chairs on the balcony so you could see the ocean view better. Can’t wait to visit Topsail again next summer!

What a view!!

Great stay! I knew what I was getting with North Topsail, and where these units were, but this unit is the first building with the beach as your neighbor! The sandbag issue mentioned in another review I did not find to be an issue at all... are they there? yes, but there is plenty of actual beach. Excellent sunrise view from the deck. The management company was fantastic with communication both for the check in process and for any bumps that arose. I was super happy with this rental.
