The Nohonani is an absolute Gem and this unit specifically was incredible for my family; husband 7yr old daughter, 4yr old son and In Laws! The location truly cannot be beat. I have been coming to Maui, specifically staying at the Nohonani since I was a child and there is nowhere else I would stay. The views are unparalleled. We cannot wait to return!

Great place and amazing location

The condo was very clean and modern, with all the necessary amenities. Our host was very quick to reply and very accommodating. We appreciated the beach chairs and beach umbrella that were included as they made our beach days much more enjoyable. Our favorite part was the location - close to Lahaina but a bit away from the touristy resort areas. Also being on the fourth floor on a corner was amazing - our son loved watching the whales and turtles from the deck every morning and evening. Would highly recommend staying here.

Marvelous in Maui

Great property and location. Just wow! Condo really was fantastic for us. And we watched whales right from the balcony. We would definitely stay here again. Megan and Jeremy were very accommodating and provided all the instruction we needed to get settled. We’d definitely recommend and would stay here again!!!

Maui 2025

The view is beautiful but the property is old and run down. Most of the pool furniture is worn and broken. The property provided many amenities but two of the three bedrooms were very hot with no air conditioning making it very uncomfortable to sleep. The fans and screens were extremely dirty so opening windows was not a great option. This was a wish trip for two of our adult children who are ill, so cleanliness, being hot and dust were a big issue. The kitchen is well-stocked, but small. The air conditioner in the main living area was freeezing up and we had to shut it off. We did let the property manager know these things early in our stay and he said the air conditioner was just repaired. He offered to come in a clean, but I already had spent two mornings cleaning all the fans.The beach area was small but nice and full of turtles. The location is great close to many nice areas to hike and sight-see. Grocery stores and restaurants are close and convenient. We had many choices for the same money, so I would not return to this property. We enjoy and appreciate life, and do not like to complain but this property was disappointing.

Beautiful ocean front property

Our stay at this home was everything we expected and more. The property was spotlessly clean and stocked with everything we needed from beach towels to folding chairs and all the kitchen essentials . No need for air-conditioning; the breeze kept the place cool both day and night. The view from the balcony lanai was probably better than any of the nearby five star resorts, but unlike those resorts, the beach was less than 10 steps away. There was comfortable furniture on the lanai, and plenty of very comfortable seating in the living room. The other residents were friendly, and the pool was a great bonus. The only downside was a few rocks were you enter the water, as is true many places in Hawaii.

Our stay first week of December

The condo was great! It was just like the pictures and very clean. Check in was easy. Owners were pretty responsive. I had a question about the towels that they never responded to. Was not a big deal but there were six of us and only 8 bath towels. It would have been nice if there was an option for a few more bath towels for each of us. It felt like we were washing towels often. The place was nicely furnished and the view was amazing . Would stay again!

Great stay! Just a couple small improvements!

We really enjoyed our stay! The things that come to mind to improve on: Not enough toilet paper or paper towels! Very little liquid dish soap was available. Both sliding doors had issues with the locks. The kitchen is a bit small (it’s a one person kitchen). The glass coffee table top caused some shin injuries. It’s hard to see the edges. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Beautiful!

We had an amazing time at this condo. Right on the beach with a 180* view of the beach, water, and two islands. Daily turtle sightings right from the balcony! Snorkeling right from beach in front of condo. Place was big enough for parents and two teens who refuse to share a room. We all had work/online school for a couple of the days we were there and we each had private space so we didn’t feel like we were competing for space. Wi-Fi worked well for all of us. Kitchen well stocked and big enough for small family. Beach chairs came in handy too! Only complaint was that 1 week wasn’t enough time here! 😏

The Perfect Getaway

We were a group of six, ranging from age 6 to 74, and the condo accommodated to all of our needs. Easy access to the elevator and a walk-in shower for my disabled step-mom, beach toys and quick pool access for my son, and everything in between. The unit was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. My son named the sea turtles we would see from the lanai, and we loved being able to walk a few steps out to essentially our own private beach each day. Would 100% recommend this rental to anyone travelling to Maui.

They were very accommodating with getting us a pack and play for our little guy, they made sure we were able to get in ok, welcome text when we landed with further instructions. It was very appreciated! The view from the condo is stunning! Great pool. . . easy access to the ocean. We stayed at the end of August and it was hot. There were plenty of fans to keep the air moving in the condo and we were comfortable. If someone is heat adverse and your traveling during the summer it might get a bit warm for you with no AC, but we were fine and it was in the low 90's all week.

Maui in August- family vacation

Incredible view. Toes in the sand and ocean within seconds. Beautiful sunsets. Great location. Close proximity to the ABC store and coffee shop. Rental facilities also within walking distance. Nice neighborhood. Safe. The condo is nice. It needs to be deep cleaned. Particularly the kitchen floor and windows. The refrigerator needs to be replaced. It constantly makes a buzzing sound and the freezer door sporadically opens. You have to be careful. The bath towels and beach towels appeared to be new. Very nice. Beds comfortable. No AC!!!!!!! It got terrible hot some afternoons and at night. Woke up sweating several mornings and we are not big people! The ocean breeze helps, but still very hot. Different to relax in the condo during the afternoon after a morning excursion. Pool OK. There were a lot of chairs. Would we return? Maybe for the view. The no AC was an issue for us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: And by “room with a view” I really mean EVERY room has a gorgeous view of the water! We watched whale adults and calves breaching, sea turtles and monk seals swimming along the shoreline from our lanai and right under our windows – truly incredible! We were traveling with another family who used the 2 bedrooms upstairs and we were in the bedroom on the main level. The upstairs master bedroom is very large with big windows. The 2nd bedroom is adequate. They shared a moderately sized bath in the hall. The Downstairs bedroom is not overly large and the closet is in the hall leading to the bathroom. The main issue is this closet is full of beach chairs, coolers, beach towels and other stuff so there is no room for suitcases which makes the downstairs bedroom very tight. A suggestion would be to put a piece of furniture in the very large master where beach stuff can be stored. The kitchen is very small and not geared toward a lot of cooking but worked for our needs. The kitchen is stocked with items for cooking, and a Keurig coffee maker is also provided. The unit appears more spacious in the listing photos than reality. The pool is fine and the grounds are clean. The biggest problem for us was the parking. There is 1 spot for the unit and 0 guest parking and a walk to street parking. Our daughter lives in the area so we were having to do a lot of jockeying of cars sometimes with quite a walk to where additional parking could be found. This condo worked out very nicely for us and its’ best attribute is the view of the water and Molokai and Lanai and falling asleep to the sound of a surf lullaby. We would get up every morning and sit on the lanai and watch the whales, the whales were so active at this time (February) that we could literally watch them for hours at a time. We had a lovely vacation – Thanks for sharing.
