Cute
This place is super cute. Upstairs and downstairs are well kept. Only thing I’d change is an updated pots set, more pillows for the couch and some lights out by the hot tub. Even string lights would be nice. It’s just so dark haha but nice for star gazing

Tranquility
Five glorious days at this adorable cabin was just what was needed. Everything you could need without a bunch of stuff you don't. Decent WIFI, unbelievable views, hot tub, firepit - who could ask for anything more! I have stayed in several different cabins and this one is at the top pf my "return" list. I look forward to my next visit!

A delightful retreat
My husband and I enjoy staying at this cabin as it is the perfect size with the amenities that we need. This is our second stay in the last few years at this property and our sixth stay at Lydia Mountain overall. Because of his work schedule internet access is a must and the hot tub is a great plus.
However this cabin is showing some signs of wear and tear.
The fans are loud and clunky, the tv is pixelated in spots
The hot tub jet button was broken off and wasn’t working as well as before the bathroom was not as clean as I would have wanted ( mold on the shower curtain, spots in the tub) but the overall affect of the cabin and the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the surrounding area nice for a walk. Ultimately we relaxed and enjoyed our experience

Great location but no wifi
Overall the stay was good. The heat was good in the house. The main issues we had was there was no wifi despite the website saying there is. It never worked. We called the front office and was told it is what it is so if you plan on going do not expect wifi.
The cabin was also not well maintained. Several doors had fallen off downstairs, the shelves in the kitchen cabinet were collapsed in one of the lower cabinets,, the dishwasher was filled with dirty dishes when we arrived, the dishes were all grimey and dirty and there were dead bugs everywhere. Also if you use the hot tub, you need two persons to remove and replace cover. If you can get past all of that, it is a good place to lay your head and rest. Overall it was okay for us as we didn't cook at the property and were gone all day.
