Welcome to "Vitamin Sea" - Beautiful, free standing oak post and beam 2 bedroom cottage located on historic Orange Street. Built in 2009 with many upscale amenities including new 2 zone central air-conditioning in 2020 , kitchen/bathrooms with granite counters, custom cabinetry and tiled floors. Completely re-painted interior and exterior 2022, new custom window treatments 2023. New Jenn Air electric downdraft range 2023. First floor consists of a light and bright open living room, eat-in kitchen, dining area, powder room and full sized stackable washer/dryer. The second floor features a master bedroom with king bed, and a second twin bedroom both with exposed beams and cathedral ceilings, as well as a hall bath with heated tile floors. Newly renovated shower with new tile and glass door. Fully enclosed fenced-in property surrounded by privets and hydrangeas. Private patio with new outdoor furniture and gas grill, covered porch, fully enclosed outdoor shower, large off street parking and beautiful plantings complete this lovely cottage. Beautiful, new furniture, beddings, linens, and kitchenware, as well as freshly repainted both indoors and outside. Flat screen TV, cable and high speed internet. Conveniently located to shops and restaurants in the heart of Nantucket's Historic District. Close to the Union Street stop of the WAVE, the island's bus service. Less than ten minute walk down Orange Street to Main Street. "Vitamin Sea" offers everything needed for the perfect Nantucket vacation! 5 minute walk to Francis Beach perfect for families, kayak rentals.

My wife, two kids (3 & 1), and I loved staying at Vitamin Sea. It was a perfect place to stay for our family of four. The location is great, the house is clean and well appointed, and Nancy was a responsive and welcoming host. The private parking space, fenced-in yard, and outdoor shower were added bonuses. Check-in and check-out were easy and Nancy was quick to respond with any questions. Would definitely recommend!

My sisters and I stayed at Vitamin Sea for a long weekend in October. The property was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy the weekend. We enjoyed walking to town and exploring the island. We hope to stay again in the future.

A perfect cottage in a perfect location

Host was lovely and responsive and the cottage is perfect with a great back terrace! Everything comfortable and cozy. The location is super central and walkable to both Main Street and grocery store, without being loud or busy. We’d rent again for sure!

Loved the location- quiet residential street but an easy walk into town. The back porch was our favorite spot for morning coffee. We appreciated the comprehensive instructions which showed the high level of care that goes into maintaining the house.

Perfect getaway

We loved our stay at Vitamin Sea. The house was the perfect size for my husband, two kids, and I. The location is perfect—easy walk to downtown but far enough from the main hubbub that it was quiet an peaceful. It was close to many restaurants and the Wave bus, as well as coffee shops, grocery and convenience stores. We had a great week and can’t wait to return!

Perfect location! Perfect cottage! 4 ladies spent a week at Vitamin Sea for our first visit to Nantucket, and it definitely won’t be our last! Nancy was a gracious host. The cottage had everything we needed and was an easy walk into town. Can’t wait to go back!

This is our third year at vitamin Sea. The property is beautiful and well-maintained. Everything you’d want in a house of this size was there. Barbecue in great shape full kitchen with all the amenities and a very comfortable bed and bedroom. This neighborhood is fantastic with beautiful expensive homes and a lot more quiet than down on Broad Street not all the hustle and bustle but an easy walk to town or even to the Stop & Shop for groceries or the local package store right around the corner. Location, location, location. Will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Vitamin Sea for the Holiday Stroll. The house is neat and thoughtful planned and designed with an attention to detail. Conveniently located, it is a short walk to town, shopping, restaurants and the harbor. The bedrooms are comfortable and quiet at night and in the morning for sleeping. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and quality small appliances that are clean and in great condition. Wonderful cottage for a weekend away!

Perfect vacation

Our family of four had enjoyed summer vacations in Nantucket for 21 years. It had been 9 years since our last family vacation on the island, and we thoroughly enjoyed our return visit staying for a week in the Vitamin Sea. The location was perfect for both the trips downtown, and to Cisco beach and brewery. There was plenty of room for my wife and I, and our two adult sons. We enjoyed morning coffees on the porch and the outdoor shower after a long day on the beach. We dined out every night so we did not use the kitchen much, but it was well stocked should you want to cook in. We look forward to returning to Nantucket and will most definitely consider a return stay at the Vitamin Sea!

Return to Vitamin Sea

We returned to Vitamin Sea for a variety of reasons. Nancy, the owner is great to work with. Location is amazing. You are an easy walk to Main Street, easy walk to Mid-Island, easy walk to transportation, and easy to pick up a bike path. House is the perfect size. We were two adults and one teenager. We had enough space and felt relaxed. Kitchen has exactly what you need. Back patio is great to sit and pass time. We hope to return to Vitamin Sea again!

Charming, clean, and beautiful cottage within walking distance to everything in Town (and beyond)!

Vitamin Sea was perfect for my family of 3! When we arrived, the cottage was immaculate! It had all the amenities one could ask for (and more). We enjoyed walking into Town every day (multiple times a day) to shop, visit the Whaling Museum, and grab many delicious meals. And, if you simply make a right out the front door (and walk less than 1/2 a mile), you're at the grocery store, great ("locals") restaurants, bakeries, and cafes! We also loved the well-maintained outdoor space and the gas grill was an added bonus. We felt right at home staying on Nantucket to celebrate our 4-year wedding anniversary at Vitamin Sea. Nancy (the owner) was incredibly helpful and (very) quick to respond to any requests we had. We will definitely visit Nantucket again and we will most certainly stay at Vitamin Sea!
