This house is far enough from the crowds in Nantucket, yet closer to the supermarket and other services than most other outlying areas on the island. Bike paths will take you either to the picturesque village of Sconset or to the more than 80 miles of Nantucket beaches. The Tom Nevers area of the island features dense natural foliage, a surrounding ring of conservation land, expansive views and miles of secluded beaches. The higher elevation and gentle rises offer cooler breezes than the rest of the island.

For a truly memorable experience, take your four-wheel drive out to secluded Great Point to fish and see the best sunrise on the island!

Enjoy the numerous shops and restaurants, museums, library, art galleries as well as live theater and entertainment. You might even try a historic stroll or even a ghost walk at night! In town, at the wharves, you can sign up for fishing trips or join available bus, taxi or walking tours of the island.

The Great Escape

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway in a beach location, this is it! This home was immaculate and beautifully decorated . It was perfectly situated just a short walk to the beach. I haven’t slept this good in months, I wish I could have taken the mattress home with me. The description was all that and more! Thank you Frank for sharing your home with us. We hope to be back for the holidays.

Great Beach Cottage!!

Great beach cottage. Quiet and secluded. Very short walk to a great, not crowded beach. Frank is a great host. Highly recommend this property!

Great place!

Nice secluded area, great accommodations, best pull out sofa ever. Steps from the ocean. Uber better than taxi, but rental care would have been better. Frank was a great host

Quaint yet quite enough!

The pictures don't do the cottage justice! We were so pleasantly surprised to see how open and roomy it was, as well as the views of the water right in front of us. A great location! Will definitely be back!!

After having visited the island for over 20 years as a renter, it became abundantly clear that Tom Nevers offered the best of Nantucket. This house is far enough from the crowds in Nantucket, yet closer to the supermarket and other services than most other outlying areas on the island. Bike paths will take you either to the picturesque village of Sconset or to the more than 80 miles of Nantucket beaches.
